Adam Smith's Free-Enterprise Economics

This President, his Economic Advisors, and appointees to any agency, or Department that has anything to do with the Economy or finances, should shun any of the John Maynard Keynes economic philosophies, and instead turn to the philosophies of Adam Smith a Scottish born Philosopher, (1723-1790). In 1776 while living in London, he published "An Inquiry into the Nature and causes of the Wealth of Nations." The book examined in detail the consequences of economic freedom. For example it covered such concepts as the role of self-interest, the division of labor, the function of markets, and the international implications of a laissez-faire economy.

The United States was the first country to experiment with the Adam Smith formula for Free Enterprise economics, and as it was implemented, it ultimately became a monumental success and as a result the United States over the last two and third centuries became the leading economic power in the world. Mr. Smith's Principles were structured on the basis of a whole national economy and natural law. The principle points of his Free Enterprise Economics are as follows;

1. Specialized production-allow each person or corporation of persons do what they do best.

2. The exchange of goods in a free market environment takes place without government interference in production, prices or wages.

3. The free market provides the needs of the people on the basis of supply and demand, with no government imposed monopolies.

4. Prices are regulated by competition on the basis of supply and demand.

5. Profits are the means by which the production of goods and services are made worthwhile.

6. Competition is seen as the means by which quality is improved, quantity is increased. and prices are reduced.

In addition to Adam Smith's formula for Free Enterprise Economics, he also had four really quite simple Laws of Economics, and they are as follows:

1. The Freedom to try.

2. The Freedom to buy.

3. The Freedom to sell

4. The Freedom to fail

"The Founding Fathers agreed with Adam Smith that the greatest threat to economic prosperity is the arbitrary intervention of the government into the economic affairs of private business and the buying public. Historically, this has usually involved fixing prices, fixing wages, controlling production, controlling distribution, granting monopolies, or subsidizing certain products." (This paragraph is a quote from W. Cleon Skousen's book The 5000 Year Leap)

It is a pity that our so called leadership in this country has blinders on and cannot see what it takes to turn this economy around and get it moving in the direction once again of true prosperity. As I said before many times Keyensian Economics just plain do not work in promoting a Free-Enterprise Economic America.

Government is Failing in Protecting our Borders

"Facts are stubborn things; and whatever may be our wishes, our inclinations, or the dictates of our passion, they cannot alter the state of facts and evidence." --John Adams

John Adams is exactly right in the above quote. The "stubborn facts" are; The Federal Government has a Constitutional requirement to protect our borders, and ensure our country's sovereignty, and the Immigration and Naturalization Services has the responsibility to control immigration. Another "stubborn fact" is the Federal Government is doing neither.

Here are a couple quotes out of the Constitution that define the Governments responsibility in these areas:

Article IV, Section. 3. "The Congress shall have the power to dispose of and make all needed rules and regulations respecting the Territory or other property belonging to the United States; and nothing in this Constitution shall be construed as to prejudice any claims of the United States, or any particular state."

Article IV. Section. 4. "The United States shall guarantee to every state in this Union a Republican form of Government, and shall protect each of them against invasion."

The Federal Government has failed miserably in their responsibility to uphold the Constitution, and taking action to stem this invasion of our Southern border byMexico. With monumental hypocrisy the Attorney General of the United States Eric Holder has seen fit to sue the state of Arizona for passing immigration laws to protect their states sovereignty. Quite simply Arizona took action because the Federal Government failed in its responsibility to protect its borders, and contra illegal immigration. I think that the President and the Attorney General of the United States should have a good look in the mirror and, and upon reflection, an epiphany would occur; in the words of it would be Pogo; " We have met the enemy and it is us."

Although immigration issues are not a part of the Constitution per se, when the Civil War ended the states were faced with issues relative to immigration, and consequently, began introducing immigration policies. In 1875, the U.S. Supreme Court designated the regulation of immigration policies to the federal government, and not individual states. The first big wave of immigration to the United States began in the 1880s, and the government reacted by creating the Immigration Service in 1891. To deal with the high number of immigrants entering the country, the U.S. Congress introduced new immigration policies. The government introduced the National Origins Quota Act in 1921. The quota limited the number of legal immigrants to 3% of their current ethnic makeup in the United States. This immigration quota system was altered three years later and the percentage was lowered to 2%. In addition, Congress established the U.S. Border Patrol as part of the Immigration Service.

The whole point of the short dissertation on Immigration is to point out that the Federal Government established the immigration policies for the country, established the Immigration Services, and the U.S. Border Patrol. They (the government) seems to have not taken seriously these polices, and entities that are supposed to protect our borders, both country and state.

The decision to nominate an individual as an Associate Supreme Court Justice to the highest court in the land should not be taken lightly, nor based on gender, or whether the individual has "empathy" and could make better decisions than a man because she is a woman, as is the case with Sotomayor, or a woman like Elana Kagan who has a paper thin Resume' in terms litigation, and " a reputation as a consensus builder."

Excuse me, I am just an old country boy, however, it has always been my understanding that the Supreme Court at the completion of hearing the arguments of the litigants would retire to their chambers to contemplate the case, and write their opinion base solely on the Constitutionality of the arguments. Their written opinions should be devoid of any preconceived opinions, notions, prejudices, "empathy" or "consensus building." The Supreme Court Justice's opinion should be theirs alone based on, and written on the Constitutional adherence of the arguments.

Mr. Obama has, and will appoint individuals such as Sotomayor, and Kagan based on their political bent, and assurances that they will write opinions that will advance his Marxist agenda. Only a fool would believe that these two women have not surreptitiously passed litmus tests on issues critical to Mr. Obama's agenda to "Transform America."

It is unfortunate that these are life time appointments. If you get a real stinker in there you are stuck with them for life.

Keystone Cops v. AZ

Let me get this straight. The Federal Government has a constitutional obligation to secure our national borders. The Immigration Naturalization Service has the task and obligation of controlling immigration. So why should Jan Brewer the Governor of Arizona take it upon herself to usurp the power of the Federal Government to write and pass its own Immigration Bill? After all the Federal Government has "preeminent authority" on immigration enforcement and the Arizona law disrupts that balance, so says, the Department of Justice and as a consequence filed a lawsuit stating the Arizona law is unconstitutional.

Why did the proactive Governor of Arizona introduce legislation that virtually mirrors the Federal immigration, and border security laws? Quite simply the answer is, the Federal Government has failed miserably on both securing the borders, and controlling immigration. What Governor Brewer has accomplished is an act that has exposed the huge grossly inept derriere of the Federal Government on the issues of border security and Immigration control. So in its infinite wisdom the Justice Department has filed an injunction to prevent the Arizona law from taking effect ( July 29) until the lawsuit is settled. Eric Holder, and the Keystone Cops of the Justice Department are scrambling to make the case against Arizona. Give it up Eric you are only going to make the Government look even worse than it does now (if that is possible).

What is the Progressive Agenda?

We don't hear the words Transnationalism, Internationalism, and Statism a lot. These philosophies are a large part of the Progressive Agenda of ruling rather than governing. For the most part we the people have been unaware of what is happening to our country because it is being accomplished in incrementally small doses. Progressive sounds good, but when it is put in the context of losing your freedoms in the process, it is pernicious to those Freedoms. Lets define.

Transnationalism is a social movement promoting a heightened interconnectivity between people and the loosening of boundaries between countries. Transnationalism as an economic process involves the global reorganization of the production process, in which various stages of the production of any product can occur in any country, typically with aim of minimizing costs.

Internationalism refers to global co-operation between nation states, and points to the affairs between nation state governments, while transnationalism refers to global co-operation between people, and points of activities, which transcends national boundaries and in which nation-state governments do not play the most important or even a significant role.

Statist, Conservatives acknowledge the statist does not share his passion for liberty and all the good that flows from it. The statist does not recognize the tremendous benefits to society from the individual efforts, and pursuits of tens of millions of others. The statist rejects the Founder's idea of the dignity of the individual , who can flourish through ordered liberty, for one rooted in unpredictability, irrationality and Ultimately tyranny.

Transnationalism also calls for a global court system that will supplant power of our country's court system. Now, isn't that special.

Arizona v. Mexico/United States

This letter is addressed to the Leadership of both houses, both parties, The Attorney General Eric Holder, the Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano, and Vice President Biden. It is written by an aging American Patriot who does not advocate Political Correctness, and is capable of unleashing stentorian vituperation against a Government that is rife with corruption, and members who have taken an Oath of Office to uphold, protect, and defend the United States Constitution only to summarily dismiss the Oath as a pesky requirement to get into office and further their agenda.

A recent quote, and a picture of a warning sign on a Fox News report really got my attention. "Five Federal lands in Arizona Have Travel Warnings in Place." What in the hell is wrong with you people in Washington? You, in the Federal Government, have a Constitutional obligation to secure our borders, and so far the President and his administration have shown gross negligence, and a degree of ineptitude that I have not seen in government in all of my 74 years on this God's green earth. For the first time in my lifetime we have a real life situation where we have travel warnings, informing the American people that there is an area in the United States that is not safe for citizens to travel through because of "Mexican Drug Lords, and bands of illegal immigrants". Shame on you. Could it be that you have the intestinal fortitude of a sick piss ant? Or are you just plain afraid that you may offend the Mexican Drug Lords, and the bands of illegal immigrants?

You had best to hell get some heavily armed troops down there on the border and take care of business. There is no question, we are at war with Mexico. When El Presidente Felipe Callderon drags his pompous ass up here and is granted the privilege of speaking to a joint session of Congress in which he said; "I am convinced that a comprehensive immigration reform is also crucial to securing our common border. However, I strongly disagree with the recently adopted law in Arizona." He scolded and denigrated our country, which prompted applause and a standing ovation by members of Congress as well as V.P. Biden, Attorney General Eric Holder, and the Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano. WHAT IS THE MATER WITH YOU PEOPLE? Are you familiar with the phrase, "High Crimes and Misdemeanors"?

This is indefensible. How can This President, this congress, and his high level appointees give a standing ovation to the President of a country that has some of the strictest immigration laws (that are strictly enforced)in the world. He Scolds the United States for its lack of immigration reform, and you GIVE HIM A SANDING OVATION?

It is beginning to look as if the Federal Government will not protect our borders, the American citizens will. Either lead or get the hell out of the way. Arizona has every right to protect their states sovereignty, especially when the Federal government fails to do so.

This President is the most incompetent of any of the 13 Presidents that have served during my lifetime (yes that would include even Jimmy Carter). The President is destroying our country, he obviously has no executive experience, no management experience, and apparently missed micro and macro Economics in college. He was a sorry excuse for an Illinois Senator, and an even sorrier US Senator.

It appears that we have (I am not included in "WE") elected a community organizer that is now trying to organize the world, and will not accept responsibility for anything unless he thinks it will benefit him……………it is always someone else's fault.

The President's modus operandi for managing a crisis is this; Crisis, assemble a committee, create another bureaucracy, appoint another CZAR, provide lip service about the great things he is doing, and then blame someone else for his incompetence.

Beware of the U.N. Agenda

This blogpost is for the most part, the body of my letter to Representative John Shimku, it was written on August 9, 2000. Although the letter is nearly ten years old the subject matter is still relevant, and unfortuantely the U.N. is more of a threat to our Sovereignty, and freedoms that it was ten years ago. The U.N. and the Golobal Governance Statist's agendas are in lock step, and are pushing hard to destroy the America that we know and love. We the American people are in the fight of our lives to keep our country, the Darth Vadars' of the Global Government are out to destroy America, and subjugate the American people.

My letter follows:

I am very, very disturbed by the arrogance of the United Nations, and their agenda for the upcoming (September) “Millenium Summit”. I strongly oppose any agenda with a goal of usurpation of the sovereignty of the United States. The American people and the Congress had better wake up and realize how the United States has (over the last 225 years) achieved its greatness, and world leadership role. I hope congress will show some backbone and not allow the United Nations to trample over our Constitution, Bill of Rights, and way of life. Do not allow this agenda to advance!

A cursory review of the agenda items included are listed below, I hope that you are already aware of this agenda. The agenda if advanced will promote world socialism at best (something close to communism at worst). Call it nationalistic, jingoistic or what ever you like, but I vehemently oppose the UN agenda.

Formulation of a global tax system.
Creation of a UN standing army and dubbed “Rapid Reaction Force”.
Formulation and implementation of an International Criminal court.
Establishment of international gun control regulations.
Cancellation of Third World debt.
Nuclear disarmament
Creation of a new international welfare system to redistribute wealth from rich countries to poor countries.
Re-definition of human rights.
Promotion of a global agenda for “sustainable development”---meaning further diminishment of the concept of property rights
Proposal for a “companion flag” for all humanity, to be flown with national flags.

Over the last 50 years the United Nations has been advancing the concept of world governance/globalization. Unfortunately, it has been advancing, albeit slowly. The only thing the UN has done (that’s worthwhile) since its inception is participation in the Korean Conflict, and even then they didn’t carry their share of the load.

The UN is without a doubt attempting to become the vehicle for world governance and the controlling authority on human rights issues. I am incensed by this arrogance. I believe the United States should withdraw from UN membership, and demand that the UN Headquarters is removed from the United States. It wouldn’t bother me if the U. N. were disbanded.

Representative Ron Paul (Texas) has introduced legislation (H.R. 1146) to withdraw the United States from the United Nations. I agree with Representative Paul 100%. I urge you to co-sponsor this bill. Do not allow the United States to become a part of this world socialism ploy by the UN. I urge you to support any legislation that will prohibit the UN from infringing upon our national sovereignty by trampling our Constitution and Bill of Rights.

Are Charges of Treason Justified?

I am deeply troubled by the direction this President, and his administration are taking the country. The President is clearly demonstrating his total disrespect for the Nation, the military, the Constitution, our Bill of Rights, as well as his summarily dismissing his Oath of Office as a mere pesky requirement to gaining the highest office in the land, the President of the United States. First of all I will quote (excerpts) from some of the Founding Fathers documents, I trust they will not bore you, as they are essential to understanding how our country was founded, and ultimately became the most powerful nation with freedoms experienced by the people that have been unrivaled in the history the "civilized" world. So please bear with me while I make my case.

"When in the course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth……………." Thomas Jefferson

"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.--That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed. From Lincoln's Gettysburg Address, November 19, 1863;
In part; "we here highly resolve that these dead shall have not died in vain--that this nation under God, shall have a new birth of freedom--and that the Government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth."

There is no doubting the inference of "Endowed by Our Creator", and "that this nation under God" clearly, and without equivocation define the United States as being founded on the principles of Christianity, Gods Law, and natural law of man. THERE IS NO DOUBT!

Article II Section I of the Constitution clearly states, “Before he enters on the Execution of his Office, he shall take the following Oath or Affirmation: -" I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States.” This of course is sworn on the Holy Bible, in President Obama's case the Lincoln Bible.

The following are some of the actions he has taken since being elected President, he has taken control of corporations that were publicly held, he has taken over a portion of the automobile industry, insurance industry, the financial system, unconstitutionally mandated that every American be required to have his Health Insurance. He has abused the privilege of writing Executive Orders, by appointing his Czars (I guess over 40 now) to the Amorphous (shadow, or 4th) Branch of Government, which by design circumvent the checks and balances of the Legislative and Judicial Branches of Government. The Czars answer only to the President, with no Congressional oversight.

The President as well as Congress fail to adhere to Article I, Section 8, the enumerated powers that define what the Federal Government is authorized to do, and consequently what it cannot do. By the Constitution, every piece of legislation that is written must be tied to one or more of these enumerated powers. The issues that are not authorized by the Constitution are covered by the Ninth and Tenth Amendments.

The first Ten Amendments to the Constitution were written to protect the "People" from an intrusive, and oppressive government. It is no secrets that the 1st, 2nd, 4th, 9th, and 10th Amendments are now, or have been under attack for years. More recently the radical left has been increasingly pushing for the "Fairness Doctrine" to stifle dissenting voices in the media and destroying our freedom speech rights under the 1st Amendment. The 2nd Amendment has been, and is currently under constant attack by the Liberal Left. In the case of the 2nd Amendment, our rights are being influenced by foreign entities. Namely the United Nations Global Gun Ban, which I understand the Secretary of State is signing on to, and the President is looking forward to signing the CIFTA Global Gun Control scheme that will lead to Global small arms confiscation. Disarming the people is the key element to taking over the country. A disarmed populous are no longer citizens but merely subjects of a tyrant.

My contention is that if the President, or any of his high level appointees signs on to any foreign treaty that destroys our sovereignty, and abrogates any of our God given Constitutional rights , or our Bill of Rights………………………. is an act of treason and should be treated as such.

Please read the following definitions, comprehend, apply the definitions, and make a rational conclusion; should the charges of treason be brought against our leader, and his minions:
Sovereignty (n) The power to govern without external control.

Treason (n) The offense of attempting to overthrow the government of ones country, or assisting its enemies in war.

Oath (n) A solemn appeal to God to witness the truth of a statement or sacredness of a promise, or in irreverent, or careless use of a screed name.

Tyrant (n) A ruler who governs oppressively of brutally. One who uses authority or power harshly.

Totalitarian (n) Of or pertaining to a highly centralized government under control of a political group which allows no recognition of or representation to other political parties.

AG Holder V. Arizona

When the Governor of Arizona Jan Brewer Signed into law SB1070 the Immigration Bill that has really stirred up a hornets nest in the country as a whole, and apparently a stinging blow to the radical left in their agenda to push for new Amnesty legislation. What Arizona has done is taken action to protect its State Sovereignty , stop the theft of the state's resources by illegal aliens. Just prior to signing the Bill into law, President Obama is quoted as saying, this legislation is "misguided"and it "threatened to undermine basic notions of fairness that we cherish as Americans, as well as the trust between police and their communities that is crucial to keeping us safe." More of the Presidents vacuous platitudes. This Immigration Bill appears to pretty much mirror the Federal Immigration Bill. So why are the Washington politicians threatening AZ With law suits have their skivvies in a wad?

Well, what Arizona and Governor Brewer have done is a very effective way of exposing the absence of any Federal Government efforts to protect our borders, and seriously address the illegal immigration problem, not only in the Arizona, but every state in the union. The onus, and the spotlight is now on the Obama Administration. They have been exposed to the nation, and have the proverbial "Deer in the headlights "expression.

All of the preamble brings us to the apparently inept Attorney General of the United States Eric Holder. First he was going to sue the State of Arizona, calling the Immigration Bill unconstitutional, then he wasn't sure what action he would take. This kind of indecision from anyone in high office does not inspire confidence. On May 13 a House Judiciary Committee meeting took place, and Representative Ted Poe of (R)Texas, questioned AG Eric Holder, and it went like this (in part):

Rep. Poe: "So Arizona, since the federal government fails to secure the border, desperately passed laws to protect its own people. The law is supported by 70 % of the people in AZ, 60% percent of all Americans, and 50% of all Hispanics, according to The Wall Street Journal/NBC poll done just this week. And I understand that you may file a law suit against the law. It seems to me the administration ought to be enforcing border security and immigration laws and not challenge them and that the administration is on the wrong side of the American people. Have you read the Arizona law?"

AG Holder: "I have not had a chance to-I've glanced at it. I have not read it."

Poe: "It's 10 pages. It's a lot shorter than the health care bill, which was 2,000 pages long. I'll give you my copy of it , if you would like to-to have a copy. Even though you haven't read the law, do you have an opinion as to whether it's Constitutional?"

At his point I will not quote the entire interview with Rep. Poe, by now if you have read this far you have an idea where Rep. Poe is going with his questioning. I will include more of AG Holders answers to Poe's question, which should give more insight to what kind of AG we have with the Obama administration.(Hobbit73)

AG Holder: "I have not really-I have not been briefed yet. We, as I said, have underway review of the law. I have not been briefed by the people who have been responsible-who are responsible for that review."

AG Holder: "I am sure I will read the law in anticipation of that briefing. I know that they will put that in front of me, I'll spend a good evening reading that law."

AG Holder:" Well, what I've said is that I've not made up my mind. I've only made-made the comments that I've made on the basis of things that I've been able to glean by reading newspaper accounts, obviously, television, talking to people who are on the review panel, on the review team looking at the law."

The President, the AG, and the Obama administration are in deep do-do on this one, and they are scrambling to find someone to point fingers at. Well, It will not be Jan Brewer. She is dead on in taking action to protect the people of Arizona, and the sovereignty of the state of Arizona. I hope other states will man-up and take the same kinds of action that Jan Brewer has for her state.

The United States Constitution, our Sovereignty, and our Freedoms are in Peril.

An open letter to The United States Congress.

Let me begin with a simple question. Does this sound remotely familiar to all who hold government Office?

" I (your name) do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God."

Millions of American military, have taken the Oath, and faithfully live by it even after leaving the service. Now, I have a problem with those individuals who swear to an Oath of Office, on the Holy Bible and immediately summarily dismiss the Oath as just a pesky necessary step for being seated in their elected office. I am only into the second paragraph so surely you remember the Oath of Office (that would be the preceding paragraph) and the part that says you will "support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic" The following violations of the Constitution are clear evidence that you neither protect, nor defend the Constitution, and Congressional Records undoubtably contain empirical data that verifies these violations . Let me provide a bit of elucidation on what I see as going on.

1) For decades the Government has meddled in the internal affairs of other countries, without Constitutional authority causing foreign nationals to direct their hostilities toward us. This in turn has resulted in increased terrorism attacks on our country, and at military installations and embassies around the world. Consequently, in the guise of Homeland Security you have all but denied our Fourth Amendment rights, and the General Welfare of a free people.

2) For many decades we have been involved in undeclared wars in violation of the War Powers clauses of Articles I, and II.

3) Without any constitutional authority whatsoever, we are gifting, lending public money, and credit to private corporations expressly for private purposes, many of us call it "corporate welfare".
4) We have a fiat (flat) currency which is in violation of the money Clause, Article I; The government is emitting trillions of dollars worth of Bills of Credit through, or under the auspices of the Federal Reserve System again in violation of Article I. We are incurring Trillions of Dollars of debt in payment of expenditures for programs and activities that are not in the enumerated powers of the Constitution, Article I, Section 8, and therefore not authorized.

5) We have a fraudulently ratified 16th Amendment (1913) in violation of Article V, a direct, un-apportioned tax on labor in violation of the tax clauses of Article I, we also have a judicial system that refuses to consider the evidence, in violation of Article III.

6) We have unenforced immigration laws in violation of that mandate, plainly articulated in Article II, the President is required to "faithfully execute" all laws passed by Congress.

7) We have a President that has not provided unequivocal proof that he is a natural born citizen, Article II, Section I of the Constitution. A natural born citizen is the very first requirement to be elected President.

8) Why are voting machines counting our votes? In essence our votes are counted in secret. We have a Constitutional right to vote, and a Constitutional right to know the votes are being counted accurately.

9) We have an absence of well-regulated state militias, and we have federal gun control laws, all in violation of the Second Amendment to the Constitution.

10) For decades, their have been violations of the sovereignty clauses of the Declaration of Independence, consequently the United States is, and has been entering into treaties, contracts and relationships with foreign entities, and giving authority to international bodies, dissipating, destroying, and undermining Americas Sovereignty.

11) Citizens Privately owned land is being taken for private purposes rather than for the common good of the people. This is in violation of the Fifth Amendment.

12) We have a government that has become the Health Care Provider and every American will be ordered to purchase a product, taking away our freedom of choice. This Health Care Reform Law is not one of the enumerated powers as specified in Article I, Section 8, of the Constitution. Again, yet another violation of the Constitution.

13) We have money bills originating in the U.S. Senate, in violation of Article I, Section 7, of the Constitution.

14) We have a Senate that is using a super majority vote to decide whether to enact a law. Without an amendment to the Constitution, this is a violation of Article I, Sections 3, 5, and Article 5.

These violations are, and have seriously challenged the Constitutional Republic of the Un1ted States, and her people to its core.

Finally in summation, we have government officials who, for years, have refused to honor their fundamental obligation to respond to the People's First Amendment petitions to redress their grievances, a violation of the First Amendment in the Bill of Rights.

There is a rising tide of distrust, disgust, anger, cynicism, and loss of confidence In our government. This angst among the citizens of this great country is spreading like wildfire. A word to the wise should be sufficient, you should heed what has been covered in this letter. Start living up to our Oath of Office.

For many of you November 2010 will be your Waterloo, you have been nothing short of ignoble in the stewardship of our resources, and I can assure you, word of your performance is spreading across this country very rapidly. The bottom line is we will be coming for you in November.

April 19, a Date of Historical Significance

An important day in history is rapidly approaching, and it is all but forgotten by the vast majority of Americans. On April 19, 1775, 235 years ago, and about 15 months before the Declaration of Independence was written, The battles of Lexington and Concord were fought, they were the first battles of the American Revolutionary War. It was during these battles that the well known quotation "The shot heard around the world" evolved.

Some 700 British Army Regulars, under the Command of Lieutenant Colonel Francis Smith were given secret orders to capture and destroy the military supplies that were reportedly stored by the Massachusetts (MA) Colonials at Concord. They (Patriots/Militia) were aware that their supplies were at risk of being confiscated, or destroyed. As a precaution they took measures to divide them up and dispersed them to several locations for obvious reasons. The colonials also knew that if they lost the battle they would undoubtably be taken prisoner, tried as traitors to the King, and executed.

The Colonials chose to fight. The first shots were fired just as the sun was rising at Lexington. The Colonials were outnumbered and had to fall back and regroup. The Colonial Militia was composed of ordinary citizens ranging in age from teen agers to the elderly. They ultimately regrouped and soundly defeated the British Regulars, This was accomplished by the Colonials utilizing unconventional methods of fighting that the British Regulars were not accustomed to fighting against, mainly sniping, and ambush.

The Colonials saved their military stores, and more importantly demonstrated they had the right, and the will to protect themselves, their families and their property. They stood up against, and defeated a superior force, of professionally trained soldiers in the very first battle of the Revolutionary War, a war that carried on for 8 years (1775-1783). Subsequent to the Battle battle at Lexington, The Continental Congress Commissioned George Washington as Commander in Chief of the Continental Army on June 19, 1775.

This brief article is not meant to be a history lesson, it is much to short for that, but just a reminder of how we became a free and independent Nation. Our Second Amendment Rights in the Bill of Rights of the United States Constitution was inspired by the actions of the brave men of the Massachusetts Colonial Militia.

Dare I wonder are we entering an era that history is repeating itself? The King of England wanted to disarm the citizens of MA, the citizens stood up, resisted and won. We currently have an administration that wants firearm confiscation, by circumventing the Second Amendment, and signing up to Foreign Treaties (CIFTA and the United Nations Global Gun Ban) that would abrogate our right to keep and bear arms, and destroy the sovereignty of our country by usurping the power of the United States Constitution. I do see parallels. Remember, an armed person is a citizen, and unarmed citizen is a subject. We must never forget who we are and what we stand for.

Will our Sovereignty Survive?

I am deeply saddened, angered, distressed, and fearful, of the inimical direction this Marxist President, his band of Chicago strong armed enforcers, Czars, are taking our country, and how the compliant majority in Congress are usurping the power of the United States Constitution.

America is in its greatest peril since World War II. There is a real possibility that we the people are in jeopardy of losing our country, and sadly the government that President Abraham Lincoln spoke of in his Gettysburg Address on November 19, 1863, may cease to exist. He said;

(in part); "………….It is rather for us to be here dedicated to the great task remaining before us--that from these honored dead we take increased devotion to that cause for which they gave the last full measure of devotion--that we here highly resolve that these dead shall have not died in vain--that this nation under God, shall have a new birth of freedom--and that the Government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth."

Just as in Abraham Lincoln's Gettysburg Address we the people fervently resolve that the government that President Lincoln so aptly described in his address is cherished by all true Americans. We hope and pray that the Founding Fathers essence of what America should be, will remain intact in perpetuity, for the American people, and this great country.

This President, his Czars, political appointees and his administration are the antithesis of the dictates of the United States Constitution. They have shamelessly breached their Oath of Office, which in itself an impeachable offense. They take the Oath of Office, and swear on the Holy Bible, "to preserve, and protect the United states Constitution against all enemies, both foreign and domesticate", and without hesitation summarily dismiss the Oath as a pesky requirement for holding the office to which they were elected.

A breach of the Oath of Office is a very clear insight to ones Character, in terms of honesty, integrity, and ethical practices. Clearly, having been identified as breaching ones Oath of Office, is evidence that their word is not to be trusted, and consequently do not deserve the respect, nor the confidence of the American people.

In our relatively short history as a country, some two and third Centuries we have been involved in no less than thirteen armed conflicts or wars. These wars/conflicts range from the Revolutionary War (1775-1782), to the latest conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan, and the ten wars in between. Some of them of major proportions with hundreds of thousands of our young brave men, and women paying the ultimate price by sacrificing their lives, and hundreds of thousand more carry the scars of war, and many are seriously disabled. They sacrificed so that we may live in freedom.

It is with disgust, anger, and disdain that we, the American people are suffering under a regime (yes, regime) that has no respect for the military, and the millions of men and women who have served, fought for, defend our country, and preserved our freedoms. If this regime is allowed to continue down this road of oppression, and intrusiveness in our personal lives, and forcing a Marxist style government upon us, it will deny us our Rights, by controlling every facet of our lives. If this does on fact happen then all of the sacrifices that our brave men and women have made over these last two and a third centuries will have been in vain, and that my fellow Americans/Patriots, would be a sad epitaph to the once vibrant wonderful nation called….America

I happen to believe that we will survive this. That this too shall pass, and good always triumphs over evil, and oh yes the truth will set us free. The people should not fear the government, the government should fear the people.

"Birther or a Constitutionalist? An individual can be both if examined rationally. Let me explain, I am an ordinary natural born citizen and have the Birth certificate to prove it. like most Americans, I have been required to produce documents to prove who I am and where I was born, when I was born, what time I was born as well as who the attending physician was. This document (Birth Certificate) was registered with a raised seal and was safely stored in the County Seat. Clear so far?

January 1952 obtain drivers license (produce a duplicate copy of my Birth Certificate), In January 1955 I joined the United States Air Force (produce a duplicate copy of my Birth Certificate), In April 1955 apply for a Wedding License (produce a duplicate copy of my Birth Certificate), early 1960 registered to vote (produce a duplicate copy of my Birth Certificate), January 1968 application for a U.S. Passport (produce a duplicate copy of my Birth Certificate). These are times I can remember having to meet the requirement to prove who I am, and where I was born.

Now, Mr. Obama who was running for the highest office in the land, President of the United States, and is now President, has somehow managed to escape the very first requirement to be eligible for the office of President. Article II, Section 1, Clause 5 succinctly states "No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States at the time of the Adoption of the Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President......"

The rationale is quite simple. If ordinary Americans are required to provide documentation to [prove who they are and where they were born in order to get a drivers license, join the military, apply for a marriage license, register to vote etc, etc. Someone explain to me as well as millions of Americans why this guy is exempt from meeting the very first requirement to be the President of the United States. Mr. Obama could end all of this controversy by producing his original Birth Certificate with the Registrar's raised seal and signature. He won't, so I can only surmise that he is hiding something that he doesn't want the Amercian people to know.

The Valerie Jarrrett Solution

According to World Net Daily, Valerie Jarrett, President Obama's top advisor publicly inferred that the American people are too stupid to understand what is going on with this administration. I, as well as every American should be outraged at the statements this woman has made regarding our failure to understand Mr. Obama's Health Care Plan. Personally I take umbrage with her irresponsible statements as a personal affront, and an insult to my intelligence. She as inferred that TEA Party Goers are extreme and anti-government. Nothing could be further from the truth

Ms. Jarrett, last week suggested "that if the White House would produce a little booklet explaining the presidents health care and economic policies in "very simple", easy-to-follow language, it might help the TEA Party members understand White House initiatives, and perhaps stop being what she called "extreme," and "anti-government." This is the epitome of insults!

Further Ms. Jarrett states "Even if they are in favor of, lets say a different form of health care insurance reform, fine; but what's happening is it's an anti-government- I mean, that's the tea party (note lower case). They really are, um, are uh, trying to rebel against government. And I think that that's……….again, it's an extreme………And it's always a lot easier, again, to scare people and to get them angry when they're already scared, and they're already uncertain. And I think that's what the tea party (again lower case) is trying to capture." This woman is totally out of touch, and I suggest to validate her assertions, that she should attend a large TEA Party and experience what TEA Parties are all about.

Apparently Ms. Jarrett is not aware of the fact that the little booklet already exists, and has for over two centuries. It is the United States Constitution, and is written in an easy-to-understand language that explicitly explains how the U.S. Government works, and clearly identifies the limits placed on government. It is the historic document that every elected official swears an Oath of Office on the holy Bible to uphold, preserve, and protect the United States Constitution agains all enemies both foreign and domestic (the wording of the Oath varies for some offices).

Ms. Jarrett, like Mr. Obama and his minions are advocates of the Saul Alinsky's Rules For Radicals, not the United States Constitution. Ms. Jarrett's demeanor seems to have a note of angst, maybe a bit of fear from a very large and influential grass roots movement that is gaining more momentum every day. The movie "V" had a couple of good quotes I like , they are as follows; "There is something very wrong with our Country," and "The people should not fear the government, the government should fear the people." I think with all the patriot movements evolving it is sending a clear message to those in office,..........come November 2010, we are coming for you. A paradigm shift is in the works.

BI-Partisan Negotiations on Health Care Reform a Bad Idea

The following correspondence Was written by Hobbit 73, and sent to the GOP leadership in both the House and Senate in hopes of dissuading the GOP Leadership from any participation in the sham of a Bi-Partisan Conference Obama is calling for. The Letter is as follows:

Let me start off by saying that in light of Republican wins in recent elections, those being the Gubernatorial Races in New Jersey, Virginia, and the huge win in the bluest of the blue states Massachusetts by Senator Scott Brown has given the GOP new life. These elections results speak, no…….. shout, loud and clear about where the American people stand. Look at these results as a mandate for a change of direction we need to make to take back our country. Now is not the time to go weak in the knees and cave to the extreme left wing Democrats that are in power. As far as being tagged as "the party of no", be defiant and proudly wear the badge of honor that says, "Not no, but Hell NO!"

Given the tone of the opening paragraph, this old man would like to offer you a bit of advice. Do not accept Mr. Obama's invitation to join the Democrats in debates about Health Care Reform legislation unless he agrees to totally scrap the Health Care Reform bills that both the House an Senate have been unable to pass for this past year, and start with a clean slate.

By agreeing to negotiate Health Care legislation with the starting point being those bills that have already failed would be symbolically removing the Albatross from around Obama's neck. If the Republicans sign on, it would appear they are complicit, and sharing the blame for the past Health Care Reform legislation failures. We do not want to let him off the hook, he and his Liberal controlled Congress are without equivocation the owners of these failures, and the onus is on them.

You must remember, even if Mr. Obama appears to move to the center to regain some ground in terms of popularity, and appearance of bi-partisan cooperation, it is a facade, he is still, and always will be a Progressive/ Marxist President. The facts are that Mr. Obama will not scrap those failed bills, as it would show him to be a failure in one of the linchpins in his vow to "Fundamentally Change America". Quite frankly his enormous ego could not accept that humiliation.

The bottom line, do not agree to these so called "Bi-Partisan" negations to come up with a viable Health Care Reform Bill. I think we know that all rational thinking Americans know that it is his way, or no way. Please do not enable this guy. We have a paradigm shift in work on how the political game will will be played in Washington, so please gentlemen, keep up the pressure, I think we have Liberal /Progressives on the run.

Census or Invasion of Privacy?

This Post is addressed to the President, and to all members of Congress.

In case you have forgotten your Oath of Office, and your swearing to preserve the United states Constitution I want to give you a refresher on what the Constitution has to say about the Census of our great country.

"Article I, Section I. All Legislative Powers herein granted shall be vested in a Congress of the United States, which shall consist of a Senate and a House of Representatives."

"Article I, Section 2, clause 3: Representatives and direct taxes shall be apportioned among the several States which may be included within this Union, according to their respective numbers, which shall be determined by adding the whole Number of free persons, including those bound to service for a Term of years, and excluding Indians not taxed, three fifths of all other persons ( the Fourteenth Amendment addressed the equal protection clause for Indians). The actual enumeration shall be made within three Years after the first meeting of the Congress of the United States, and within every subsequent term of ten Years, in such manner as they shall by Law direct. The number of Representatives shall not exceed one for every thirty Thousand, but every State shall have at least one Representative……….."

It is perfectly clear that the Census task falls under the auspices of the Legislative Branch of Government. Until just recently the census was a responsibility of the Department of Commerce, which falls under the Legislative Branch of Government.

Why is it that the Executive Branch of Government has taken over a task, whose responsibility clearly falls under the Legislative Branch? I understand now that ACORN is working its way back into the Census taking effort under President Obama's administration. Why is this? ACORN has been proven unequivocally dishonest, heavy handed enforcers for this administration, and notably guilty of voter registration fraud.

By what authority has the Executive Branch hijacked an effort that clearly belongs to the Department of Commerce under the Legislative Branch? The action that is taking place requires a Constitutional Amendment.

Further, the Constitution specifically states "enumerated………every ten years". Enumerated by definition means "To determine the number of,…..count". The Government is in violation our Constitutional rights by forcing the people to reveal personal information that is no ones business but the individuals.

The Questionnaire that I understand is coming with the Census Form is an invasion of privacy, and demands personal/family information, that far exceeds "Enumeration." The penalty for failing to fill out the required information…………... $5,000, and threaten them with prosecution and possible prison time? I think you had better get real. I personally will provide what the Constitution requires me to provide to satisfy the Census requirement,…..you can ENUMERATE me!

Tyranny in the White House

There is no doubt in my mind that astute rational thinking Americans are keenly aware of what this Pseudo-President and his jolly band of Marxists are doing. There is no doubt that Health Care Reform, and Cap and Trade legislation are the cornerstone's of his promise to "Transform America". His agenda will earn him a legacy that will undoubtedly go down in history as one of the most damaging administrations in the history of the United States of American. Our sovereignty will be destroyed, and our Bill of rights will become a thing of the past.

His struggle to force this Health Care Reform legislation on the American people is arguably unconstitutional. The government cannot mandate that every American be covered under this onerous Health Care Reform. It denies the American people the freedom of choice, and will burden them with unsustainable debt, rationed health care, and yes "Death Panels" regardless what Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, Dick Durbin and Mr. Obama, et.al say. Denying health care to the elderly, and government (tax payer) funded abortions are de facto genocide against the seniors who have built this country, and the unborn who will never of had a chance to live. A side benefit for Mr. Obama and his myrmidons.......when the seniors are long gone there will be no one around that even knows what that pesky Constitution is, let alone the Bill of Rights.

Earlier this week I seen Senator Tom Harkin at a press conference, and he stated (to paraphrase) that "health care is moving from a "Privilege" to a "Right", and this legislation is like a starter home that we can add too later". Senator Harkin showed his ignorance and pure arrogance, by that bit of TV face time. The government cannot grant rights, only God can grant rights, to wit: "We hold these truths to be self evident, that all men are created equal, and that they are endowed by their creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness........." The enumerated powers of the Constitution does not allow the granting of rights. Our Rights as American citizens are clearly defined in the Bill of Rights, specifically in the first ten Amendments.

Being cautiously optimistic, I do believe the wheels are coming off of the Al Gore Global Warming swindle, and hopefully that whole charade will will go away on a Global initiative, however, it looks like the Environmental Protection Agency may attempt to burden us with untenable costly regulations that will still affect we the people with significant costs in energy consumption, can you spell "Smart Grid"?

As to the Title of this post, you are all aware there are three branches of the Federal Government as set forth in the United States Constitution. Article I establishes the Legislative Branch, Article II establishes the Executive Branch, Article III establishes the Judicial Branch. The Founding Fathers in their wisdom wrote the Constitution with vision and purpose, the three branches were established as a method of "checks and balances" so in effect, no one branch could dominate the other two. This is where the tyranny is raising its ugly head. The Executive Branch (the President) is insinuating itself into the business of of the Legislative Branch. The President with his arm twisting, knee cap busting, and Chicago style thuggery influence on the Legislature is tyranny. He has rallied those in collusion with his agenda to the White House to hammer out a Health Care Reform Bill that will totally screw the America people. Folks we need an all out effort come this November at the voting booth to send these corrupt elitists home with their tail's between their legs.

I am an American Patriot, I fervently believe in the Declaration of Independence, The United States Constitution, Our Bill of Rights of which the first ten Amendments were added to protect the Citizens of this great country from an intrusive, and oppressive Government. I am a frequent reader of the Federalist Papers. Given the aforementioned preface it is understandable that I take the dictates of the founding documents seriously.

I am educated, I can read, Comprehend, form rational conclusions, and effectively articulate those conclusions. Having stated that, I am trying to draw a parallel between what the Constitution states, what I see going on in the Congress today, and there is no congruity between the two. The members of Congress seem to never have read the Constitution, or just blatantly ignore its dictates if they have read it, and just freelance to achieve their political agenda. These are irresponsible, and unethical character flaws that are unacceptable to the people who elected them to office as their representatives.

It is incomprehensible to me how a bill that is over 2,000 pages long, written in the vernacular of legalese can be read, and fully comprehended by all that have a responsibility to do just that (read it) , but do not, and yet vote on it. If no one, (or very few people) has actually read the Bill, then who wrote it? I have an idea that these bills are written by an entity external to the united States Congress. The way Congress is force feeding these power grabbing Bills down the throats of the American people, without understanding what is in them I believe is grossly irresponsible. Compounding this irresponsibility is the fact that you have unintended consequences incurred by making the Bill Law. What are those unintended consequences, huh?

As previously stated in the opening paragraph, I take these founding documents very serious, I expect my Representative and my Senators to do the same. I am going to quote (in-part) the Declaration of Independence, I want you to do a deep, soul searching look into your performance and see how you measure up;
"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed with by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness. That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed. That whenever any form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the right of the people to alter or to abolish it, and instate new Government, laying it's foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, a to them seem most likely to effect their safety and happiness…………….."

These are powerful words, and should be heeded, and not to be taken lightly. Are those meaningless words to you?

The next exercise for you, is to do some more soul searching in regards to the Oath of Office you took on the day you were sworn in with your hand on the Holy Bible. Have you lived up to that Oath, especially the part that you "Shall be bound by oath or affirmation to support this Constitution," ? Here is an example of what I mean. During Speaker Pelosi's push to get the House version of the Health Care Reform pushed through by whatever means was necessary, a news reporter was heard to say "Madam Speaker, where in the Constitution does it say that you can mandate Health Care for Every American? The Speaker replied with these three little words, "Are you serious?" So you see what we the American people are up against………..and we do not like it!

Quite frankly I believe that you have all forgotten the very things I have written about here. Honor, truth , ethics, and responsibility to your constituents and your Oath of Office. These character traits are rarely found in the members of the three branches of Government. Corruption, Fascism, tyranny are rife in this Government. You have lost the trust of your constituents, they have become cynical, and tired of deals made behind closed doors, passing legislation in the dark of night, and deals that squander our financial resources with special deals to favor certain members of your elitist fraternity. When you are using tax payer dollars to bribe a Senator or Congressman to get their vote, rational thinking people see this as criminal, and this has happened just very recently with three Senators, and you know who I mean. We are tired of being told what is best for us, and that you know better. I think that you had better wake up and smell the roses, get back to the Constitution, and stop spending money we don't have.

If you continue down the path that this President is taking this country, without standing up for America and its people, and continue to ignore the issues I have written about in this letter, I can only surmise that you are following the agenda of a Marxist President, whom we know very little about, and is implementing the Marx Dialectic Lens too our American way of life, as well as Saul Alinsky's Rules for Radicals . I can only surmise that you are in agreement with this Marxist President take over of our America, and you will be stopped.

Your actions since this new administration has taken over has undoubtably awakened a sleeping giant, and a paradigm shift is happening at this very moment. You will all pay for your actions
at the ballot box. A Progressiveness/Statist government will not stand in the good old USA!

Obamacare Promises are a Huge Prevarication

Based on the Report from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMMS) the Nancy Pelosi version of Obamacare eviscerates almost every single promise the President has made about his health care plan. According to the report Obamacare, raises health care costs; causes millions of Americans to lose their current health care coverage; forces millions of Americans to pay fines and still receive no health insurance; causes millions of seniors to lose their Medicare Advantage plans: places millions of Americans on welfare; jeopardizes Medicare access for all seniors; worsens healh care for the poor.

On December the 11th the CMMS issued another report, this was directed at Senator Harry Reid's version (based on what was known of his version). In many ways it was much worse: Health care costs would rise by $243B; 17 million Americans would be forced out of their existing health insurance plans; 19 million Americans would pay $29B in taxes and fines and receive no health care in return; 33% of all Medicare Advantage customers would lose their heal care plans; 18 million Americans would be put on welfare;The $493B in Medicare cuts would force 20% of Medicare providers to become unprofitable thus jeopardizing access to all seniors;The explosion in Medicaid recipients would seriously exacerbate existing health care access problems for the poor.This information may be found at: morningbell@heritage.org

The CMMS is a non-partisan, and they conduct independent analysis of pending legislation. So you see my Friends, We the people are getting a royal screwing by the inmates of the asylum, economic rape so to speak. I am deeply disturbed with your leadership, or rather the lack thereof, and the direction you are taking our country. Mr. President, does this sound familiar? "I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States." You repeated that Oath with your hand no the Holy Bible. It is evident that you have cast aside the Oath as if it were nothing more than meaningless words, and an inconvenient, but necessary step on the path to becoming President of these United States. Does the Oath of Office have any significance in your world? I think the answer to that questions is an emphatic NO!

You have introduced Fascism into our government by a hostile take over by our government of publicly held corporations e.g. taking over General Motors, Chrysler et al, and firing CEOs, capping executives pay and compensation, You have allowed the Government to in effect take control of the Banking Industry and the Insurance industries as well.

You are insistent on Government mandated Health Care Reform, that requires every American shall be forced into this power grabbing, total population control, Government Insurance plan. There is no Constitutional authority to mandate this legislation, it denies the individual the freedom of choice, whatever that choice may be. The Global warming scare is proving to be a huge scam. Your Cap and Trade agenda is an undeserved hardship on the American people. The Executive Branch and its arm twisting tactics in the Legislative, and Judicial Branches, smacks of tyranny.

I have read that you are eager to sign the CIFTA Treaty which if you sign, and get a 2/3 Senate vote in favor, and ratify the Treaty, your actions will have abrogated our Second Amendment rights, and taken a huge step in destroying the sovereignty of the United States. Likewise your Secretary of State is pushing to implement the United Nations global gun ban.

As you well know ARTICLE 2 Section 2, Clause 2, states (of the President) "He shall have the power by and with the advice and consent of the Senate, to MAKE Treaties, provided two-thirds of the Senators present concur;………….. this clause states MAKE treaties, being a signatory to international treaties that will severely damage our countries sovereignty is not the same as MAKING a treaty! I am certain the Founding Fathers in writing this clause had no intention of our government agreeing to foreign or international treaties that would usurp the power of the United States Constitution. You and your party leadership in the United States Congress are making a mockery of the very things this country stands for.

It has been a year now since you were elected to the Office that you now hold. I, as well as millions of Americans are wondering when you are you going to honor your Oath of Office. So far you have demonstrated no desire to take the Oath seriously. Congress is just as negligent as you are in their nonchalant attitudes toward their Oath of Office. You have done nothing to "preserve, protect, and defend" the Constitution, quite the contrary, your agenda is destroying our sovereignty, and ultimately our country. The Marx/Hegel Dialectic lens is in place as well as Saul Alinsky's "Rules for Radicals", both fit nicely into your agenda, and plan for America. We the American people are not standing still for this. The United States Constitution is the foundation this country was built on. It was not the government that built this nation it was the people. Your initiatives are progressive in nature and are intended to do harm to our Country. I have lost count of your Czars', which by the way is an effective means of circumventing the checks and balances of the Legislative and Judicial, branches of government, and is by the way unconstitutional. I resent the term "CZAR" being used in any context that is connected to the United States government. Any rational thinking individual who knows the definition of "Czar" would surely agree.

Your selection and appointment of your economic and financial leadership people demonstrates a total lack of knowledge of free market economics (and we are a free market, Capitalist country, and will remains so). We have a Secretary of the Treasury that is either dishonest, or not very smart, after all he doesn't know how to use Turbo Tax. It is common knowledge that Keynesian economics does not work in a free market environment. You cannot borrow and spend your way to prosperity……………….it just does not work. Let me quote Franklin Roosevelt's Treasury Secretary Henry Morgenthau (from his Private Diary) "We have tried Spending money. We are spending more than we have ever spent before and it does not work………we have never made good on our promises……….after eight years of this administration we have just as much unemployment as when we started… and enormous debt to boot". There may be something to heed in that quote.

My advice to you Sir is, if you want to stimulate the economy let the people keep more of their money, reduce taxes, create an environment that is conducive to entrepreneurs to start new businesses. Here is a simple but proven fact, Macro-Economics 101-Give a man a dollar, and he will want to spend it, this in turn creates a demand for goods or services, someone will meet that demand by starting a business, he will hire employees, and they will become tax payers, hence revenue for the government coffers. Now if the man decides to keep the dollar and save it……………….it then becomes venture capital for some entrepreneur.

Mr. President, we do not want a Statist/Progressive country. Unfortunately all of your initiatives ,Health Care Reform, Cap and Trade, hostile takeover by the Federal Government of publicly held entities i.e. automobile industry, banking and insurance industries, are all unconstitutional. When was the last time that you looked at Article 1, Section 8, Clauses' 1-18 the enumerated powers that specifically state what the Federal Government is authorized to do?
When did you last read the Bill of Rights? Specifically, Amendments 1, 2, 4, 9, 10, and 14 ?

The Stimulus Money and Transparency

Well, the Obama transparency in reference to how our stimulus dollars are being wisely spent, and accounted for just recently came to light and being made public via "Recovery.com". According to this site nearly $6.4B were used to "create or save" approximately 30,000 jobs at a cost of approximatley $225,000 per job, which is an insane amount of money just to create one job. That is not the worst of it, these 30,000 jobs were created/saved in 440 "Phantom Congressional Districts". Now doesn't this mean that that we would have created 440 new Representatives for the House of Representatives? These would be in addition to the 435 Representatives that are now serving. Is this $6.4B just an immensely large Gerrymandering effort on the Obama Administration's intentions to insure their continued control of government, or is it just me being overly cynical and not trusting the government to manage our financial resources in a more responsible manner? The facts (as reported) are $6.4B of Stimulus dollars have disappeared into the realm of 440 non-existent Congressional Districts, and has "created or saved" 30,000 non-existent jobs. I think Obama and his genius whiz kids owe the American people a huge no nonsense explanation on how this happened, and just where does this $6.4B now reside? Does this reek of ACORN, or SEIU duplicity? Finally there should be plenty of prison orange coveralls made available for those responsible for this level of corruption.

A Tired Angry American

I am A Tired Angry American. I suppose politicians have always been a bit ethically, and morally challenged over the years, so there is abundant blame to go around. The voting public is not without blame. Too many Americans that vote have not taken the time to understand the issues that the candidates are running on, and probably 3/4 of them cannot name the three branches of government, their two Senators or their Congressional District, and Representative. Having said that, and being somewhat attuned to the political chicanery, sleight of hand, outright prevarication that goes on not only in State politics but more so on the National political scene for the last 40 plus years, I have reached a level of political critical mass that I am "A Tired Angry American." Let me tell you why.

I am tired of Politicians who once elected to office seem have forgotten why they were sent to Washington, and think that their sole purpose for being there is to get re-elected.

I am tired of Politicians who once elected, and swear on the Holy Bible an Oath Of Office to "Support the Constitution" of the United States and then subsequently, blatantly ignore their sworn Oath of Office.

I am tired of Politicians Who seem to have forgotten the Declaration of Independence and the following the tenets of the United States Constitution.

I am tired of Politicians who meet behind closed doors in the dark of night to craft "Legislation" that will serve their own selfish elitist purposes, and try to push the legislation through before anyone has a chance to read it and comment.

I am tired of Politicians That promote projects in their own states that we the taxpayers cannot afford.....John Murtha's "own Airport" (three flights a day?)
comes to mind, as well as the $500M Bridge to nowhere in Alaska....

I am tired of Politicians that have no problem spending Billions..........no trillions of dollars we do not have, and incurring monumental debt for our descendants. Printing billions of dollars that have no support only further devalues the dollars in circulation.

I am tired of Politicians et al that have created an environment of Political Correctness and an environment of oppressive laws on Diversity. Both of these now accepted social norms are counter-intuitive to a true intellectual exchange of ideas and conversation, without fear of reprisal.

I am tired of politicians and a President who blatantly ignore Article I, Section 8 of the Constitution, the enumerated powers, these are the things that the Federal Government can do, and the X Amendment..."The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people." States Rights!

I am tired of politicians that introduce 2000 page bills written in legalese on the floor of congress that no one has read. If no one has read them..........who wrote them?

I am tired of a President who denigrates the Constitution by his comments. In 2001 he said " The Constitution is fundamentally flawed, the Founding Fathers got it Wrong." He inferred that the Constitution did not address re-distribution of wealth.

I am tired of a President who, until he presents a valid Birth Certificate that can be validated, and show where he was born, what time, and date he was born, who the attending physician was, and a raised seal of registration on the Certificate, he is not elgible to be President. I want to see his academic records, and who provided his financial support through school.

I am tired of a President, and an Administration that dismisses the ultimate sacrifices made by millions of brave American service men and women. The brave service members past and present that were, and are willing to put their lives on the line to preserve our freedoms,and our President goes on a world tour apologizing for our sacrifices to save their country. Unbelievable.

I am tired of a President that is an embarrassment on his foreign visits he hasn't a clue on cultural protocol. The American President bows to no one. He doesn't know how to bow properly even if he had to.

I am tired of a President,Commander in Chief who selects a General to be a Theater Commander in a very dangerous and difficult war, and when this Theater Commander requests more men and materials, he hesitates for.........four months and still hasn't made a decision. The Commander in Chief Gives the General a job, and then refuses to give him the tools he needs to do the job,unbelievable.

I am tired of a President who follows a Marxist agenda to destroy our country through legislation for Health Care Reform, Cap and Trade Energy, CIFTA International Firearms Treaty that would abrogate our Second Amendment Rights, Americorp, Fascism i.e. taking over of a publicly held Corporation,and firing the CEO (General Motors), the banking and insurance industries.

I am tired of a President who has aggressively established a huge amorphous branch of government with 40 plus Czars that answer only to him and by pass the checks and balances of the three branches of government. Very few of these Czars are confirmed by the senate.

I am tired of a President who costs the taxpayers millions of dollars flying all over the world apologizing for America.

I am tired of a President that is in bed with the SEIU, you know...the people he sends out to rough up people at the TEA Party's, I am tired of ACORN, fear it will re-surface as the same kind of organization only under a different name.

So if you have taken the time to read my ramblings perhaps you can understand why I am A Tired Angry American. Hopefully you are too. This may sound familiar, For the first time in my life I am ASHAMED of my Country.

CIFTA Treaty A Threat To The Second Amendment

“A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.”

The Second Amendment is unequivocally the most important amendment in terms of preservation of our country’s freedom, and keeping us free from tyranny. However, this President and his administration are pushing hard to render the Second Amendment irrelevant.

There is an insidious South American Gun-Control Treaty designed to take our Second Amendment rights away. Mr. Obama is anxious to sign the treaty and get it ratified. It is known as CIFTA, the Inter-American Convention Against The Illicit Manufacturing of and Trafficking in Firearms, Ammunition, Explosives, and other Related Materials. Every aspect of the treaty introduces major required gun controls, most of which will affect average citizens. The controls go far beyond anything ever attempted by gun-control groups in the United States. None of the proposed gun controls are likely to pass by themselves through Congress. If the treaty is enacted they don’t have to, they become law when the treaty is ratified. The U.S. Government under this treaty gains power to manage firearms almost anyway it would like, without checks and balances. Once signed, many of the restrictions and government intrusions become mandatory, and the full Congress, already cut out of ratification (only the Senate approves treaties) would be cut out of the implementation process entirely.

Top to bottom registration of all firearms, ammunition, ammunition components and other related materials is required if they are “in transit” and records must be kept indefinitely. Vague language in this treaty, and the requirement to comply, are a gun banners dream, and a gun rights advocate’s nightmare.
“ Transit licenses or authorizations” for transfers of firearms are required for imported firearms, and loose language could include the same for all domestic firearms.

Lengthy record keeping is required that directly conflicts with U.S. law, and would be left up to bureaucrats, and arbitrary controls for implementation. Hand loading of ammunition would become illegal and subject to severe sanctions. Government licensing that is undefined, and could include almost any conditions, taxes and limitations, including scrupulous inventorying, record keeping, and unscheduled audit searches of people who reload.

Similar licensing and controls will be required on anything made “that can be attached to a firearm,” known as “other related materials.” This includes components, parts, replacement parts and such items as wood or composite stocks, slings, bayonets, bayonet lugs, sights. Scopes rails lasers, grips. Flash hiders, suppressors, muzzle brakes and other paraphernalia. Attaching any such parts without government license would be “illicit manufacture,” a criminal act with undefined penalties.

Record sharing requirements ensure that any gun-owner data that must be destroyed under current U.S. law can be easily stored aboard, and can be retrieved at will as required under various international “cooperation” clauses.

The aforementioned details are just a sample of some of the insidious purpose of the CIFTA Treaty. It must not happen. Write to President Obama, and your Senators and express your views. Remember if this is ratified it abrogates our rights guaranteed by the Second Amendment.

Political Correctness a Bane to Free Speech

Political Correctness and Diversity have been two of my pet peeves. My generation (I was born in the 1930s) wasn't constrained by the over sensitive society that we live in today. We were taught the importance rational thinking, the exchange of ideas, speaking our mind, and being able to defend your stand on the issues being discussed. We truly had First Amendment Rights. Express your opinions without fear of reprisal, the exception being slander on an others character.

Political Correctness is a bane to free speech, it violates our First Amendments Rights by not allowing individuals to articulate their true thoughts and ideas on Persons, entities, cultures, government, as well as a multitude of other subjects that are taboo, without the fear of the ACLU or some Government entity filing law suits against the individual for expressing his or her opinion.

Until we as a country get past political correctness, racial profiling issues, feely good diversity, and the fear of offending someone with our words, the American Flag or the mention of the word God, and worrying about what other countries think about us, Our unique American Culture will continue to disappear into oblivion.

The recent massacre at Ft. Hood Texas, President Obama displayed political correctness by not calling the mass murder Major Nidal Hasan the Islamic terrorist he is. There are mountains of evidence he is a radical Jihadi............no doubt about it. there are mountains of empirical evidence that cannot be denied. No doubt Political Correctness has allowed him to survive for 9 years in the United States Army, with no one having the intestinal fortitude to investigate this guy and put him away. Those in a position to question this guy's true allegiance did nothing to stop him. So we have the tragedy of those fine young soldiers becoming the victims of an attack by an Army Officer whom they were (through military decorum) taught to trusted implicitly.

The First Amendment Under Attack.......Again!

Lets start at the beginning when Thomas Jefferson authored the Declaration of Independence, which set forth the vision of what the essence of America would be. The Founding Fathers authored the United States Constitution, which lays out and provides the guidance for implemention of the dictates of the Declaration of Independence. Subsequently the Bill of Rights was added . The first ten amendments are explicit in their meaning, and were written to protect the people from an intrusive, and oppressive omnipotent government. Mr. Obama's "Diversity Czar" Mr. Mark Lloyd is set on destroying the First Amendment. This is the subject of this current attack on the 1st Amendment.

Just as a refresher the First Amendment reads as follows:

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, nor Prohibition the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press, or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and petition the Government for a redress of grievances."

Benjamin Franklin said "Whoever would overthrow the liberty of a nation must begin by subduing the freeness of speech."

The "Diversity Czar" (God, I hate those words) Mr. Mark Lloyd has been appointed to head up the Federal Communications Commission. He is a "Center for American Progress (CAP) Fellow" which is a Geroge Soros funded entity. In terms of the sancity of the Constitutional right to free speech as we know it today, Lloyd's views are very scary. In 2006, Mr Lloyd wrote a book titled "Prologue To A Farce: Communication and Democracy in America." In the text of the book he wrote "It should be clear.....That my focus here is not freedom of speech or the press. This freedom is all to often an exaggeration. At the very least, blind references to freedom of speech or the press serve as a distraction from the critical examination of other communications policies."

In is vision....Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, Sean Hannity, Neal Boortz, Laura Ingraham, as well as all other Conservative Radio talk show, and TV show hosts would be silenced. He intends to do this through the FCC revoking station licences, and reallocate the licenses to stations that will be of a "Progressive" bent. The ultimate goal is to silence all dissenting voices much the same way Josef Goebbles, Hitler's Propaganda Minister silenced voices in Nazi Germany. If Mr Lloyd is successful in his goals, I suspect the newspapers will be next.

It is imperative that we not let this happen in our country. Let your Congress persons know that we the American people will not stand for this gross violation of our First Amendment Rights.

Senator Baucus Bill vs. Obama Promises

The Senate Finance Committee chaired by Senator Max Baucus cobbled together what is shaping up to be a flawed Health Care Reform Bill. The details of which Senate bills this new Bill came from are undisclosed at this time. There is some speculation as to whether the President will sign, or veto a Bill with so many contradictions to his previous promises that his Health Care Reform vision called for. The Baucus Bill contains eight major contradictions to Obama’s promises. These contradictions are chronicled below:

Obama Promise no.1 - Will not raise taxes on the middle class.
Baucus Bill Contradiction -$2 billion in new “penalties”

Obama Promise no. 2 - Will reject any Bill that “adds one dime to the deficit.”
Baucus Bill Contradiction - $239 B added to deficit

Obama Promise no.3 – “If you like your current plan you can keep it.”
Baucus Bill Contradiction – One half of Medicare Advantage benefits will be cut

Obama Promise no.4 – “If you like your current Doctor you can keep your Doctor.”
Baucus Bill Contradiction – Squeezes Doctors and Hospitals until they reduce patient access.

Obama Promise no. 5- A promise that no Government Bureaucrat will stand between patients and doctors.
Baucus Bill Contradiction – Establishes a Medicare Commission with power to deny treatment.

Obama Promise no.6 – “Slow the growth of Health Care costs for our families.”
Baucus Bill Contradiction – Adds a new tax on hearing aids, eye glasses, wheel chairs, pace makers, breakthrough drugs, etc.

Obama Promise no.7 – A promise that Healthcare reform will fix the economy.
Baucus Bill Contradiction- Adds new taxes on small business.

Obama Promise no. 8 – Promises to insure all Americans.
Baucus Bill Contradiction- Leaves 25 million uninsured.

Obama, Commander in Chief....In Name Only

Anyone that was fortunate enough to have studied world history is more than likely familiar with the legendary quote that "Nero fiddled While Rome Burned". We have a current day analogy to that ancient quote it goes something like this; "Americans soldiers are dying in Afghanistan while Obama was in Copenhagen making a pitch for the Olympic Games to be held in Chicago."

President Obama as our Commander in Chief is a miserable failure. General McChrystal the Theater Commander has requested an additional 40,000 troops to meet the challenges presented by the Taliban and Al Quaeda. He stated the seriousness of the situation as questionable for our success if he is not provided the resources he requires to be successful. No one knows the battle ground situation better than the on site commander, and the Commander in Chief should trust him and by the most expeditious means provide the equipment and the personnel to win the war in Afghanistan. If the Commander in Chief is not in this war to win, then let us just get the hell out! The way things are currently going we are taking the same path the Russians took, and those results were not good.

Our Commander in Chief would not even make a good Platoon leader, and I wouldn't trust him to lead a troop of Boy Scouts across the street, further he wouldn't make a pimple on a 2nd Lieutenant platoon leader's derriere. The Commander in Chief's indecisiveness at the this critical juncture of the war is costing more brave young Americans lives.............while Obama fiddles.

Selling Our Sovereignty

This post is a letter I had sent to Senator Mitch McConnell and 13 other Congresspersons in May 2008. It had relevance then and now. It points out just how much the Conservatives have lost their ideological compass. I think it deserves another read.

Senator McConnell,
I am not one of your constituents, however, as a life long Republican, and fiscal conservative I feel compelled to write to you (Republican Leader U.S. Senate) on issues that are important to me as well as millions of like minded Americans. The Republican Party has lost its ideological compass. The tenets of traditional Republican Party values have been lost, ignored, or exist in words only. Hopefully, my time will not be wasted in sending this correspondence to you Senator McConnell. Please take the time to read the following, and you just may get some idea as to how mainstream American feels.

The following mini-dissertation covers several subjects that are very disturbing to me. I need to vent my frustration, and anger at the government and its lack of action on many issues I feel are vital to the survival of our country, our way of life, and our unique American culture. So here goes.

It is apparent to me that something is terribly wrong in our country today. The lifeblood of our nation is being drained, our unique American culture, and our way of life is being destroyed. I can only surmise that this is happening with the complicity of our government, in league with forces, governments, or powerful groups that are working to establish Global Governance. Sadly, The United States Constitution seems to be of little importance to our national leaders anymore. The Bill of Rights, particularly the first ten amendments explicitly protect the rights of the people from an oppressive and intrusive government. Sadly our rights are disappearing. Political Correctness rules as a major factor in the selling of the sovereignty of America--------- where we were born, raised, helped to build, defended, and loved. Unfortunately, elected and appointed officials are more interested in gaining control of individual’s lives, limiting rights, and holding power than they are in doing the right thing. On most issues the vox populi seems to fall on deaf ears in Washington. The aforementioned being said, I do have a modicum faith, and believe that at some point in time the American people will stand tall and send the message to an omnipotent government that-----------enough is enough! However, until we get past political correctness, racial profiling issues, feely good diversity, and the fear of offending someone with our words, our flag, or the mention of God, our culture, or worrying about what other countries think of us, sadly this country will continue on a downward spiral. Any patriotic American does not want that to happen!

In late 1993, or early1994 when NAFTA was implemented I remember Ross Perot’s words (paraphrase) that if NAFTA becomes law the American people will hear a huge sucking sound------------the sound of our manufacturing base leaving the country all in the name of greed, and bottom line profits for large corporations. Well, that prediction came to fruition, and the loss of our manufacturing base did in fact become a reality. As a consequence of NAFTA we the American people are hard pressed now to find anything to purchase that is made in the U.S.A.

I am weary, and resentful of hearing the recorded message “press one for English” on our phones every time we call a business etc., I reside in Illinois, and recently heard an announcement in a Wal-Mart Super Store made in Spanish. Excuse me, but this is the United States, and the last I heard, English was the preferred (“official”) language. Now the administration is doing their best to make some 20 million (estimated) illegal aliens citizens. The government is trying to dupe the citizens of this great country into buying a “Comprehensive Immigration Bill”, what does that mean? Whatever the context, it certainly doesn’t fit the definition of “fully informed”. Fortunately, the American people spoke up loud and clear. We the people wanted no part of that bill, and it did go down to defeat. The bill was ill conceived, as I understand it was written behind closed doors. There were no committee meetings subsequent to the bill being written, and the bill not being read or understood by all concerned before it was rushed to a vote. The American people were not made aware of what was going on until congress tried to jam it down our throats. This stunk to high heaven-------Little wonder most people do not trust congress.

Now I read that the Bush administration is quietly pushing for a Mexico to Canada super highway, and that the environmental impact study has been completed. I also read that construction on this highway is due to start next year. This is infuriating in more ways than one, first of all it smacks of collusion and back room deals without keeping the American people informed (again). If this actually comes to fruition, what’s next? We give everything west of the super highway to Mexico? Now I read that President Bush has met with México’s President, and will soon meet with Canada’s Prime Minister to discuss a North American Union. I don’t recall President Bush asking the American people how they feel about a North American Union. Why is the Denver Mint minting the “Amero”? Is this a done deal? I certainly hope this North American Union idea dies a quick death. With all that is going on I imagine our country’s founding fathers must be turning over in their graves.

On the subject of illegal immigration which word in ‘illegal immigration” does the administration not understand? If it is illegal, it is against the law, if it is against the law it is punishable under our laws. After all we are a country that lives by the Rule of Law (supposedly). I do not believe that most members of congress have the intestinal fortitude to do what is right. The administration needs to shut down the borders, and have a moratorium on immigration. Implement a serious effort to find those employers who are hiring illegal aliens, and hit them with serious fines that will get their attention. Do the same with the landlords who rent/lease to illegal aliens.

The American people will have to unite, rise up and replace those congressman, and Senators that are not getting the job done, and are out of touch with mainstream America. I know this is a representative republic; however, we don’t seem to have that representative relationship happening.

Other issues:
I have a real problem with the “Fairness Doctrine” in terms of the First Amendment rights of the people, and the obvious attempt at shutting down talk radio. Senator Trent Lott’s statement a while back when he attacked talk radio and said they were “running the country” and that we would have to “deal with that”. This is not Nazi Germany.

The McCain Feingold Campaign Reform Bill also stifles our 1st amendment rights.

I have a problem with the never-ending attacks on our 2nd Amendment Rights. There are a myriad of gun laws on the books that are not enforced---------why not? Yet the liberal left and some conservatives are trying to take away those rights by introducing new legislation---------it never ends.

I have a problem with the almost total destruction of the 4th Amendment under the guise of fighting the drug war. For all practical purposes our rights to reasonable search, and seizure, and warrants ----------gone.

I have a problem with what appears to be a calculated plan to dumb down of our educational system. I am tired of hearing the same old mantra-----the kids today are so much smarter than we were. Contrary to that line of thinking I believe that there is a long slow deliberate path leading to a society of ignorant myrmidons. With easily controlled minds filled with mush. What has happened to the in-depth studies of U.S. History, The United States Constitution, world history, geography, economics, earth/ physical sciences, and mathematics------------ all but gone? Every other developed nation in the world out scores American students on achievement tests. The government seems to think it is more fitting to educate our young in tree hugging, alternative lifestyles, diversity, basket weaving---------et al. Get the Federal Government out of our educational system. Disband the NEA.

I do believe that President Bush is right on the war in Afghanistan and Iraq, the tax cuts in his first term really stimulated our booming economy----------these are very positive things. On the other hand the President seems to have lost his veto pen, and is a huge spender of taxpayers’ money, not a good steward of our resources.

I have lost faith and confidence of the United States Congress and the Bush administration. Both the previous Republican controlled congress and the current Democratic controlled congress have been, and are shameful in their performance----------let me count the ways:

1.Failure to protect the borders
2.Failure to make the Bush tax cuts permanent
3.Allowing the McCain Feingold Campaign Reform bill to become law.
4.Passing the Kennedy Education Bill
5. Failing to get the Social Security Reform bill through (allowing a percentage of Social Security tax to be invested in private accounts)
6. Trying to jam the Immigration Reform Bill down our throats
7. The pending construction of the Mexico to Canada Super highway
8. Enormous amount of pork barrel spending. House $12.94B, Sen. $6.39B. Totaling: 19.33 billion dollars
9. Talk of open borders and a “North American Union”
10. The Denver mint selling Ameros
11. Recently authorizing Social Security benefits for illegal aliens.
12. Failure to build new refineries, and drilling for oil in ANWAR.
13. Do not even get me started on the United Nations.

I could go on and on, but I think you have a pretty good idea of what is really disturbing me about the Federal Government and this administration.

Senator McConnell as you will note I have contributed nothing to the National Republican Senatorial Committee. However, I have completed the survey. I feel I am a better judge of how my money should be spent than the government wasting the money on silly irresponsible earmarks. In my view “conservative values” represent the rhetoric that Republicans like to use.

Having stated my views on the issues in the body of this correspondence I do know that with a Democrat in the White House, and a Democratic controlled Congress the country would be much worse off. The United States of America would probably become the Unites Socialist States of America.

Supporting Congressman Shimkus

Having read all of the denigrating press about Congressman John Shimkus’s, conduct during the now infamous “You Lie” episode with Representative Joe Wilson blurt during the Presidents address to the Joint Session of Congress. Representative Shimkus quietly arose and departed the Chambers subsequent to Mr. Wilsons Comment. Apparently many were offended by his actions. I believe it is time for someone to stand up for the Congressman. Over the years I have had only satisfactory results in my interface with Congressman Shimkus. I was privileged to have a one on one meeting with John Shimkus during the recent Congressional recess. I found him to be engaging and concerned about the issues I wanted to address, and discuss.

Congressman Shimkus is a West Point Graduate, and a retired LTC from the United States Army, and a former schoolteacher, not a lawyer. When you become an Office and a Gentleman you take an Oath which in part says you swear to “Protect and defend the United States Constitution against all enemies both foreign and Domestic”. When you leave the service the Oath goes with you. Arguably we have a domestic enemy in the White House.

Given the aforementioned, I believe that Congressman Shimkus departure from the Chambers of Congress was a silent expression of dissent, and with all the negative press, he got his message across without saying a word. I do support the honorable Congressman and his action. Oh, I am not a large campaign contributor.

Oath of Office, Meaningless Words?

On Presidential Inauguration Day, January 20th 2009 in accordance with the United States Constitution, the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of United States John Roberts administered the Oath of Office to the new incoming President.

Article II Section I of the Constitution clearly states, “Before he enter on the Execution of his Office, he shall take the following Oath or Affirmation: -" I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States.” This of course is sworn on the Holy Bible.

To men of honesty and integrity this Solemn Oath of Office is not taken lightly, and to the best of their ability they will follow the dictates of those words written by our Founding Fathers, ooh so many years ago. On the other hand we have a President with a different agenda, and the Oath of Office becomes nothing more than a formality, and its intended purpose has no relevance to his Marxist agenda, and presents no diffidence to achieve his goal of a Socialist America.

Since taking office he has managed to incur more cumulative debt on the America people than all past Presidents combined. He has taken over, or nationalized the insurance industry, the banking industry, taken control of a publicly held Automobile company, and fired its CEO. These actions are pure and simple fascism.

The writing of Executive Orders appointing 42 Czars (most not confirmed by the U.S. Senate) is an Executive Power granted the President to help appointed Executive Officers direct their operations, they all answer to the President, and circumvent checks and balances of the Legislative and Judicial Branches. Executive Powers granted the President, and consequently the authority to write Executive Orders are vaguely referenced, and granted in Article II, Section 1. of the Constitution. As a result the purview, and decision making, become the action of the President (Executive Branch) alone. Can you spell “Tyranny”?

The President is supposed to be a Constitutional Scholar. He has been quoted on the air during an interview that “The Constitution is fundamentally flawed, the Founding Fathers got it wrong.” That quote is patently incorrect, it is his opinion, and not the understanding of main stream America. Sorry Mr. President, the Founding Fathers had it right, you have it wrong. Two and a third centuries of this country growing and becoming the greatest, most powerful nation in the world was no accident. There is an abundance of impirical data that substantiates the facts.

The point of this blog is to point out that everything this President is doing is leading to more government. Just to name a few of the things, less freedom, higher taxes, abrogation of our rights, and taking away our freedom to choose, and how we want to live our lives. None of the items on his Marxist agenda remotely promote his Oath sworn on the Holy Bible to,"preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States.” I recall seeing a sign at the D.C. Rally in Washington on 9/12 that very succinctly stated " You Took An Oath To Defend the Constitution, Not Destroy It!"

Unfortunately, we are stuck with a rank amateur as our leader, still on the campaign trail, not having a clue what the duties of the Commander in Chief are, not understanding who our Eastern European Allies are, as evidenced by his pulling the rug out from under Poland and hanging them out to dry by cancelling the Missile Defense Shield. These hardened foreign leaders see him as lacking in experience, and weak. They will play him like Itzhak perlman on his Stradivarius violin. Mr. Obama is no match for these leaders.

Can You Hear Us Now?

When Glenn Beck put forth the idea of the 9/12 Project it peaked my interest and I was hoping it would develop, come to fruition, and become a national movement. It has, and it did. Millions of like minded American Patriots became energized, and as a result we the people, of our own volition eagerly joined the movement with renewed hope for saving our country from Statism, and bringing it back from the brink of impending disaster that would ultimately render our U.S. Constitution, and the Bill of Rights as irrelevant, and our country's sovereignty destroyed.

I felt an overwhelming compulsion to make the trek to our Nations Capitol and participate in what will be the incipient stages of we the people taking back our country and reinstating our freedoms and rights as guaranteed by the Founding Fathers in the Constitution, and the Bill of Rights. It should be noted that Beck's 9/12 group was not alone, we were joined by several groups all banded together for this great rally.

On the morning of 9/12 when we arrived at the Capitol (about 11:30), I can only describe the scene as a mass of humanity as far as the eye could see. Nearly everyone was carrying either a sign, or a flag. I proudly carried the yellow Colonial "Don't Tread on me" flag. The main stream media for the most part tried to ignore the scope of the people attending this rally. It was estimated by reliable sources that anywhere from 1.5 million to 2 million people attended. The Capitol Police stated that it was the largest crowd they had ever witnessed for this kind of event. I was impressed with the demeanor, and conduct of the people during the event. It was the largest, and nicest group of people I have ever had the honor and pleasure to be involved with. There is no doubt that each and every one of us were of a single mind, and determined to implement the much needed change. There was a distinct sense of solidarity.

This event was real, effective, and we will continue the pressure until the President, his administration, and our elected officials get the message. This message was delivered to the President; "Can you hear us now Mr. Obama?" and in response to the Presidents challenge that he was going to "call out the nay Sayers on his health care reform." We responded with a chorus of tens of thousands of voices "HERE WE ARE!"

The adjective "awesome" is over used, however, it is appropriate in this case.

The Amorphous Branch of Government

The Amorphous Branch of Government

The United States Constitution identifies three separate branches of government: Article I, establishes the Legislative Branch, Article II, establishes the Executive Branch, and finally Article III establishes the Judicial Branch. The Constitution sets forth the guidelines for each branch, in terms of what they can, and can't do. The Founding Fathers, in their wisdom wrote the Constitution in this manner to provide a system of checks and balances to insure that no one branch could dominate either of the other two. This was the intent of the Founding Fathers.
Given the aforementioned, there are problems that have evolved over the years as our country grew. The Founding Fathers could not have had the foresight or anticipated the evolution that is counter to the Founders intent. There is a fourth pseudo-branch of government that is known as the amorphous branch. This is the enormous “administrative branch” which oversees and implements the administration's policies. It is a massive bureaucracy that consists of a workforce of over 2 million employees and administers a budget of billions of dollars a year. This branch enforces rules that regulate energy, the environment, business, labor, employment, transportation, housing, agriculture, food, drugs, education, etc. You may well feel the effects, and control of this "amorphous" branch of government on a daily basis, it is slowly but surely abrogating the individual’s rights, and freedoms guaranteed by the United States Constitution, and our Bill of Rights.
As the bureaucracies continue to grow, so do the powers of the Federal Government. As you probably have figured out many of these Government entities are now headed by Czars. Sadly, if the trend does not stop, our Congress as well as the Constitution may become irrelevant, hence a Tyrant rules.

HB3200, Unconstitutional?

The liberal Democrats in Washington have lost their minds, and with any kind of voter response next year they will have lost their cushy Washington jobs. I for one have read most of HB3200, and believe me the legalese vernacular is not easy to read, however, the layman with a little effort, and patience can garner the important points of the Bill. It is however purposely vague and open to a wide spectrum of interpretation, and lawyers love it that way, as it does provide a lot of wiggle room when push comes to shove. Having said that, it is clear to me as well as millions of other Americans HB3200 is not really about health care reform is it? What it is about is a huge power grab, which will allow the Federal Government to control virtually every facet of your lives.

Not only is this HB3200 “America’s Affordable Health Choices Act of 2009” a huge power grab that puts the American people on critical path to Socialism, I believe it is a Bill written that is unconstitutional. Now, I am not a Constitutional Scholar however, I can read, comprehend, evaluate, and come to rationale conclusions on nearly any subject written in English, the exceptions would be those subjects that are esoteric in nature.

I have read the Declaration of Independence many times, and I consider it the greatest document ever written in terms of what Thomas Jefferson envisioned the Essence of the United States of America should be and ultimately became. The U.S Constitution of course is in effect a “User’s Guide” on what the federal Government can do, and cannot do. The Bill of Rights particularly the first ten Amendments explicitly are for the protection from an intrusive, and oppressive government. Herein lies the problem with HB3200 it is over the top intrusive and oppressive mainly it takes away our freedom of choice by government mandated Universal Health care, we as citizens will have no choice. President Obama’s blathering on about “If you like your doctor and your health plan you can keep them” is just a crock. Private insurance companies will not be able to compete
against a Government run health plan that does not have to make a profit. Eventually everyone would be funneled into this onerous, people controlling behemoth of a bureaucracy.

Article I, Section 8 of the United States Constitution spells out the enumerated powers granted the Federal Government. So help me I see nothing in the enumerated powers that allows the Federal Government to mandate Universal health care for every American. As all Congressmen should know, any of those enumerated powers that are not authorized under Article I Section 8, are however, covered in the X Amendment.

Congressmen/women need to get off their political high horses and start living up to their Oath of Office, Read the Declaration of Independence, get familiar with the United States Constitution. You’re putting your political careers in jeopardy by following this nefarious progressive, statist path to the destruction of the United States. I do believe that in the words of the Japanese Admiral Yamamoto subsequent to the attack on Pearl Harbor, “I fear we have awakened a sleeping giant”, and folks this Universal Health Care is the progressive, statists Pearl Harbor.

The Case for Self-Preservation vs HB3200

To establish a premise for "The Case for Self-Preservation", I need to quote the very first sentence of the Declaration of Independence (authored by Thomas Jefferson); "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness." This quote could not have been more clearly articulated. It is on this premise that I will make the case against HB3200, "America's Affordable Health Choices Act of 2009". The insidious 1018 pages of this bill are in absolute, and total contradiction with first sentence of the Declaration of Independence.

HB3200 is riddled with a myriad of intrusive and oppressive set of rules that will deny the American people of their right to choose the insurance of their choice, if they choose any at all. The Government has no Constitutional right to mandate a National Health plan that forces every American to be covered. Article I, Section 8 of the United States Constitution lists the Enumerated Powers, there are 19 of them. The Enumerated Powers spell out what the Federal Government is authorized to do. You will not find any mention of mandated National Health Care. HB3200 clearly is in violation of the Enumerated Powers, therefore not Constitutionally legal.

Many provisions of HB3200 if enacted is the equivalent of a Death Warrant for millions of Senior Citizens, as well as millions of unborn children. If you are elderly and a high maintenance patient in terms of medical procedures and/or pharmaceuticals you will be denied procedures as well as the prescriptions you may require to continue your life with some acceptable measure in terms of your quality of your life.

If HB3200 is enacted at this point in time I will be looking for methods of self-preservation. To put it succinctly, when you are faced with a threat to your life which certain provisions of this onerous piece of legislation will certainly do, what do you do? When your life is threatened the innate psyche of the human mind of self-preservation takes over, you recognize the threat, assume a defensive posture and act to mitigate the threat by what ever means available and appropriate. The essence of this bit of verbiage is, HB3200 and the Federal Government are a threat to the lives of millions of people, the elderly and the unborn................Prepare to defend yourselves! It is perfectly clear that not one thing in HB3200 enhances your "Unalieable rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness" does it?

Mr. Obama, Show Us A Valid Birth Certificate!

When are the authorities going to push this pseudo-President to produce his vaulted Birth Certificate?

Phillip J. Berg a former Deputy Attorney General for the State of Pennsylvania, claims to have evidence that Barack Hussein Obama's birth was witnessed by his Paternal Grandmother, affirming that she was in the delivery room when he was born on August 4th, 1961, in Mombosa, Kenya.

The issue of Obama's birth place, which he states is Honolulu, Hawaii in 1961, has been raised enough times that his Campaign had posted an image purporting to be his "Certificate of Live Birth" from Hawaii. Mr. Berg as well as some skeptics assert the document is forged. They point out that the Document is computer generated, and that the technology was not available at in 1961.

I, as well as millions of Americans demand to see his vaulted Birth Certificate that can without equivocation prove where he was born, with the date and time as well as the attending physician's name.

The Obama Keys to Fundamentally Changing America

Well here we are just a little over 6 months into the Obama Presidency, and look how much damage this man has done to our country. There are those of us who warned our friends and acquaintances about Obama, and quite frankly a lot of those folks chose not listen to an old man on his soap box speaking out against this Kenyan who is now President, illegally I might add. In reality Mr. Obama is a man of mystery, what do we really know about him? He is an eloquent speaker (as long as he has a tele-prompter), he is a master of opacity, he is a first class prevaricator, he is the epitome of narcissism. Somehow he has managed to attend and graduate from some of the most prestigious Universities in the Country. I ask who paid for all of these expensive Ivy League schools? Why are all of these records sealed? How did he manage to purchase a multi-million dollar home in Chicago on a Community Organizers salary? However, none of these things really matter at this point in time. What really matters is the damage he is doing to the country and its citizens. A couple of years ago on a radio interview in reference to the United States Constitution he is quoted as saying," The Constitution is fundamentally flawed, the Founding Fathers got it wrong." I beg to differ, for two and a third centuries the Declaration of Independence and the United States Constitution has served us magnificently.

In my humble old country boy opinion, the following issues are key to the success of making the U.S.A. into the U.S.S.A. , and congress can become the Politburo. I think anyone who will step back and take an objective look at what I have put together will see the treacherous road Mr. Obama and his myrmidons are leading us down. Essentially some of the key elements of his takeover of the country are as follows, and he is pushing for fast enactment:

The Cap and Trade Legislation as asserted by the GOP will cause skyrocketing energy costs, because of carbon footprint allocations many companies will simply move to countries that do not have such stringent energy restrictions on businesses, consequently loss of jobs, and revenue. On the personal level, we the people will be told how much, and what kinds of energy we can use without being fined. New homes will be required to have a smart chip that will allow the government to monitor what kind of energy you are consuming, and will limit you (hello big brother). I'm sure most of you remember Obama's quote from up in Portland Oregon last year when he said "We can't drive our SUVs and eat as much as we want and keep our homes on 72 degrees at all times.........and then expect that other countries are going to say OK." Frankly I couldn't care less what the rest of the countries in the world think of the good old U.S.A. and we sure don't need any government entity, other country telling us what kinds of cars we can drive.

The Health Care Reform Bills in both the House and Senate, are among the most onerous I can recall. it is not just a health bill but an enormous power grab that will let the government control every facet of your life. They will provide us senior citizens with "end of life counseling", they will deny us medical treatment (rationing), they will have direct access to our financial accounts, and personal records, on and on and on. With a 1,000 plus pages in HB3200 it is virtually impossible to cover all the really important issues where they are going to screw us. I recommend going to Thomas.gov and bring up the HB3200 and read for yourself. Oh, by the way Congress has exempted themselves from the very wonderful health plans they have for us.
If this legislation is enacted into law, the United States Government will be guilty of committing genocide of senior citizens and unborn children, pure population control.

CIFTA Ratification For all of us 2nd Amendment lovers this one is a nightmare. Obama is pushing for ratification. It is known as CIFTA, the "Inter-American Convention Against The Illicit Manufacturing Of And Trafficking In Firearms, Ammunition, Explosives, And Other Related Materials." It can be found verbatim here: http://www.oas.org/English/treaties/a-36.html . This is very much like the United Nations agenda for world wide gun control and ban. It would require every firearm owner to register all firearms, this information would be made available to every foreign country that has ratified the Treaty. As a side note, hand loading would be illegal. Ratification would usurp our 2nd Amendment rights. I think rendering 2nd Amendment irrelevant is the key lynch pin in Obama's plan to subjugate the American citizen into a mere subject among the masses. Disarming the American people is key to take over.

Americorp Obamas's version of the Brown Shirts of you know who, only more powerful. As I understand Mr. Obama these Americorp members will be in the 18-25 year old age group, be larger than our standing Army, and better funded. I think Emanuel said they will be given 3 months "Basic Training", I wonder if that means Arms and tactical urban combat training? I believe he said they will serve for 3 years. May be coming to your neighborhood soon.

Fairness Doctrine (or facsimile thereof) This is the liberal way of silencing dissenting voices. this is aimed at Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity,Laura Ingraham, Glen Beck, Neal Boortz, Micheal Savage, and any other Conservative or Libertarian talk show hosts. This is right in line with the McCain-Feingold Campaign Finance Reform legislation, an attack on our 1st Amendment Rights.

Czars I guess Obama probably has over 30 by now. The word itself means "the Ruler of Russia up to 1917" or "King". There is no place in the Government of the United States for any Czars period! The Czars that Mr. Obama has appointed are analogous to Al Capone's Lieutenants for prostitution, gambling , protection, booze etc. The Czars are a version of Chicago thug rule, they answer only to the God Father.

Mr. Obama has introduced fascism into the government by taking over a giant publicly held corporation GM, and firing the CEO, is taking over the Financial, and insurance industries. He is responsible for shutting down virtually thousands of automobile dealerships leaving them holding the bag (large inventories of cars). This guy does not govern he rules! and that is not in our Declaration of Independence, nor the United States Constitution. He needs to be stopped.
He ignores the enumerated powers on the Constitution (Article 1, Section 8), He violates the IX Amendment, "The enumeration in the Constitution of certain rights shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people". He violates the X Amendment which states "The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or the people."

Tyranny Some of that is going on also. Any time one branch of the government insinuates itself in to another, the checks and balances of the three branch system is breached. Not only does this happen, but with his modus operandi of having all of these Czars reporting directly to him he is circumventing the checks and balances, provided by the Legislative Branch the Judicial Branch, and yes the Executive Branchs of our government.

There are rumblings now of repealing the 22nd Amendment Section I............you know, the one that says "No person shall be elected to the Office of President more than twice........... ", I..... Hmm, .......I wonder what that's all about?

I guess I have put out enough to ponder for a while. Lets get a move on and get the ideological compass caged and the country headed back to where it belongs, The World Power, with due respect, and bow to no one! Ultimately the vox populi will be heard!

A Swell of Conservatism is Coming

Our Country is facing the greatest peril in my lifetime; the only exception would be World War II. The peril we now face is not a world war, but the pernicious forces of an oppressive omnipotent government that has an agenda that will drastically change the way we have to live. Unfortunately, for the last century The United States has been moving slowly but surely towards Statism (or Progressivism). This is not what the Founding Fathers had in mind for this great country. The Founding Fathers strongly favored Federalism, and wrote the U.S. Constitution with those ideologies in mind.

As I ponder the fate of our country, and the pending hardships being imposed on we the people by an oppressive, intrusive government with a Socialist Utopian bent, what can we as ordinary citizens do? First of all, we need to be in this fight together, and target the fence sitters, find them, and educate them in the ideology of true conservatives, let the people keep more of the money they have earned, demand smaller government, lower taxes, lower the capital gains taxes that would encourage companies to once again set up shop in the United States. We desperately need to scrap the Department of Education, disband the teachers union and return the responsibility of educating our children the states and local school boards, We need to fight against Socialized medicine, and Cap and Trade initiatives. Hard left extreme left liberals are lost causes, and we need not waste our energies on them, other than to defeat them at the ballot boxes.

The problems that have evolved over decades as a result of Presidents (from both parties) and their administrations are a result of the progressives that are amongst us. They have slowly but surely been implementing policies, and making laws that have, and are now more than ever eroding our freedoms as guaranteed by the United States Constitution, and the Bill of Rights. In my humble opinion one of the main reasons this is happening is the dumbing down our young people. One of the major reasons for this happening, and is no accident. Those of you who are old enough to remember the Viet Nam war will also remember the sometimes-violent hippie anti-war protests that were ongoing during this time. Many of those radical left wing hate America first protesters, are now tenured college professors, and they have not changed their radical anti-American philosophies. As a consequence our young minds in college are getting huge doses of purely subjective lectures on what is wrong with America. All of you who have children in school, I would suggest that you get with the schools they are attending and ask to look at their curriculum, and make a determination as to whether or not they are teaching what you child should be learning. Make a decision and do what is best for your child and the good old U.S.A.

Audit the Fed!

Representative Ron Paul of Texas has introduced H.R. 1207, a bill titled "To amend Title 31, United States Code, to reform the manner in which the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System is audited by the Comptroller General of the United States, and the manner in which such audits are reported, and for other purposes." Quite a long title, but the bill was introduced on 2/26/2009, and currently has 245 cosponsors and referred to the House Committee on Financial Services. The fact that there are 245 cosponsors is a good sign it may have some traction.

I don't always support Ron Paul , but he has it right on this issue. If this Bill passes it will be a step towards restoring some semblance of confidence, accountability, and responsibility in National Monetary Policy for the American people.

What is the Federal Reserve System (aka the Fed.)? The Federal Reserve System was established on December 23, 1913. It serves as the country's Central Bank, and it was created by an act of congress. The Fed consists of a Board of Governors with seven members and is head quartered in Washington, DC, there are twelve Federal Reserve Banks located in major cities throughout the United States. The seven Members of the Board are appointed by the President, and confirmed by the U.S. Senate for a term of 14 years, and must be a fair representation of the financial, agricultural, industrial and commercial interests, and geographical divisions of the country.

Given this short history of the Federal Reserve System, why do we need an independent audit of this all powerful government entity? Here is why, the Federal Reserve System is responsible for conducting Americas monetary policy, it supervises and regulates banks and protects consumers' credit rights, it is responsible for maintaining the stability of America's financial system, and provides financial services to the U.S. Government, the public, financial intuitions, and foreign financial intuitions. Additionally the Federal Reserve makes loans to commercial banks and is authorized to issue the Federal Reserve Notes that make up America's entire supply of paper money. Any Government entity with as much power and responsibility as the Fed. needs oversight and thorough audits, with results available for all to see.

Any bank using "National Bank" as part of its name is a member of the Federal Reserve System. As a member they must maintain minimum levels of reserves with one of the 12 Federal Reserve Banks and must deposit a percentage of their customers' savings account and checking account deposits in a Federal Reserve Bank. To me that is very scary especially now with the morons that are in control of our financial resources.

What we have with this President and his administration, a run-away Federal Reserve System, with no oversight, with none of the transparency promised by this President, and his rogues gallery. We desperately need serious oversight of this very powerful Congressional creation (the Fed.). I urge each and everyone of you to write, or call your Representatives and urge them to support Rep. Ron Paul's H.R. 1207.

Obama,"Like a God"

When Evan Thomas of Newsweek was on Hardball with Chris Mathews he made a comparison between Ronald Reagan, and Barack Obama. Thomas said that Reagan was "all about America", and that Obama was "God like, and above it all Like a God". Excuse me while I fight the oncoming urge to toss my cookies. Obama is no doubt a great orator, but promulgates no message of any substance. A great speaker in itself does not make a good leader, as we are seeing right now in his aggressive anti-American Statist agenda to ultimately strip the American people of their rights, their freedom of choice, and for sure their pursuit of happiness. I for one consider myself an American Patriot, I believe in the Declaration of Independence, I believe that we should be governed by the dictates of the United States Constitution, and enjoy our freedoms and protected from an oppressive and intrusive Omnipotent government by our Bill of Rights. The first ten Amendments to the Constitution are explicit in their meaning and pertain to the rights of the people. These rights are constantly under attacked by the Liberal left( I prefer the term Statist). The McCain-Feingold Campaign Finance Reform Act is an attack on our first Amendment Rights, as is the Fairness Doctrine the Liberal Left is trying to renew, this would destroy conservative talk radio. The anti-gun crowd is trying every trick imaginable to find a way to confiscate the American citizens firearms. The Fourth Amendment has for all intents and purposes has been abrogated in the name of fighting the drug war. The Fourth Amendment in part states "The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures.............". This all went away with the no warrant searches brought on by the war on drugs. If you recall, the law required that a search warrant would be issued only with just and probable cause. Amendments IX and X are violated on a daily basis ( I suggest you look them up).

What has happened in his first 5 months in office? Let's see if we can review what damage he and his Liberal Left have done, and are trying to do; He wants to close Gitmo, and move these terrorist to here in the United States, He is responsible for a $789 Billion 1078 Page Stimulus Bill (with about 9,000 earmarks) that was passed by Congress on the 15th of February, 2009.................Oh! nobody had read it. Now that shows these people have a lot of concern for their constituency. President Obama flexing muscles after the Government take over of Fannie May and Freddie Mac, He then introduces Fascism to the American people in the form of taking over for all intents and purposes the Automobile Industry, and then the President of the United States fires the CEO of one of the largest publicly held corporations in the United States. He has insinuated the Federal Government into the Banking industry, the insurance industry, and is going to dictate energy policy. These are a few of the things we see so far. However, the most egregious plan on President Obamas agenda is the National Health Care Plan (Socialized Medicine), will cost trillions of dollars we do not have, and will never be able to pay back. Folks we are bankrupt.

Some of the things we have to look forward too under the Obama administration are; the government dictating what kinds of cars you can drive, under Cap and Trade, you will be told the settings for your thermostat in your house, what you can eat, and how much, plus a myriad of other things that will totally deny you the right to make your own everyday decisions. The far reaching tentacles of the Obama administration strangle your right to choose the way you want to live your life.

Have you all noticed how many Czars we have now? I have lost track. I have a problem with the title "Czar", definition: "(n) The Ruler of Russia until 1917, King, or one who has great authority". Personally I am offended by the use of Czar especially as it relates to our U.S. Government.

President Obama?

First and foremost I have the highest regard for the Office of the President of the United States, however, with this so-called President it ends there. Mr. Obama's rhetoric is masterful, and when presented in his wonderful baritone voice it lulls the audience into a state of hypnotic stupor. He has mastered the art of TelePrompter speech (which is actually very annoying to me). But wait! What does he say, I mean.......... what do his words really say? If you parse the words of a speech that Mr. Obama gives you will soon realize that he is also a master of opacity , or in other words the ability to sound wonderful but not really committing a for, or against issues, especially those that are controversial.

I really have a problem with Mr. Obama and his refusal to present his original Birth Certificate, instead he presents a "Certificate of Birth", from Hawaii that was deemed to be computer generated. Without unequivocal proof of his birth as a natural born citizen, I cannot accept Mr. Obama as President of the United States. Article II, Section I, clause 5 of the United States Constitution clearly states; No person except a natural born Citizen, or Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of the President.............". That clause is explicit in its meaning, and is a requirement to hold the office of President of the United states. When is he going to present the vault copy of his birth certificate? We are waiting Mr. Obama.

Mr. Obama breeches his Oath of Office on a daily basis especially the part of the Oath that he swears to "Preserve, Protect and Defend the Constitution of the United States". It is obvious to me that this man is in over his head, he represents the epitome of narcissism, is always blaming someone else for anything bad that happens. The trillions of dollars of debt he has the country, is not G.W."s fault no matter what Mr. Obama says.............the onus is on him, and is administration. I could write a treatise on this guy, maybe I will some day. Obama becoming President is analogous to a guy who is working the drive-up window at McDonalds, and is promoted to CEO of the company with no experience in between.

I do hope you followers will take the time to read this document written by our Founding Fathers, yes, it is the "Declaration of Independence". Read it and please let your Representatives and Senators know in no uncertain terms how you feel about their ignoring this historic document, and by doing so they are destroying the America that we love.

"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.--That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed. Sonia Sotomayor...........a Minority quota Pick?

President Obama has nominated the anti-Second Amendment Judicial Activist Sonia Sotomayor to replace retiring Justice David H. Souter as the next Associate Justice to the Supreme Court of the United States. This is unacceptable in more ways than one to a huge segment of the American people. She has a preconceived adverse opinion on what the Second Amendment means. She has publicly stated that she believes that judges in the courts should have a large part in making government policy. It is the Executive Branch of Government that sets policy, not the Judicial Branch. She believes that empathy should be a part of judicial decisions. These are not characteristics we look for in a nominee to the Supreme Court.

It appears that Judge Sotomayor is a minority quota pick, she is Latino, and she is a woman. She has a strong disposition on issues that would not allow her to make rational opened minded decisions on some cases brought before the court. Neither Empathy, nor preconceived notions on certain issues should enter into a judges decisions on cases presented to the court, whether they be assenting or dissenting opinions.

As a Constitutional Scholar, President Obama should know better than to nominate anyone that cannot be impartial, and open minded when hearing the cases argued before them. It is the mission so to speak of the Supreme Court to apply the Constitution to the law or case presented to them, and to make their decisions based solely on how the Constitution applies to the case being presented; Constitutionality is the key, no biases, no preconceived notions or opinions, and no empathy. Judge Sotomayor is a very bad choice to fill this Supreme Court Vacancy. Sadly, she will be confirmed and we will be burdened with a bad choice for life.

Madame Secretary,

I am writing to you in reference to the Homeland Security Assessment Document titled “Rightwing Extremism: Current Economic and Political Climate Fueling Resurgence in Radicalization and Recruitment” The title is quite cumbersome to type, to say the least. I take great umbrage to virtually the entire content of this document. It paints “we the people” with the same broad brush, If you are a veteran, if you believe in God, and in prayer in school, are pro-life, and cling too our guns; somehow we are painted as “potential domestic terrorists”. Why is this label applied only to “Rightwing Extremists”? Quite frankly, I have the feeling that this “Assessment” was developed, and published by “radical left wing extremists”.

On a personal level I not doubt fall under your Assessment’s description of a “Potential Domestic Terrorist”. I am a 73-year-old male; I joined the U.S. Military 7 January 1955, and served honorably and proudly until my retirement on 1 August 1977. In 1968 I under went a background investigation and a National Agency Check and was granted a Top Secret Clearance I held that clearance for six years (1974) at which time it was down graded to Secret without prejudice. I took my Oath of Enlistment very seriously, and have continued to live up to that Oath to the best of my ability. I have been a gun owner for 60 years, I have never been arrested, I believe in God and prayer, and believe that life begins at conception, and that abortion is the taking life of what would become a human being just like you and I. I resent your organization, or any other government entity providing law enforcement agencies with my name without empirical data justifying such action.

I have read your resume’ and you are an amazingly accomplished woman. However it appears that you are totally out of touch with mainstream America. May I ask what direction you want to see our country headed? Are you an advocate for Global Governance? Unfortunately, this President is taking us headlong into a Statist government. There are tens of millions of people out here in mainstream America who vehemently oppose the possibly of becoming nothing more than a state within a world government, and our National sovereignty the detritus of a destroyed proud Republic. That is not what millions of Active duty military, and veterans have fought for, and countless numbers have paid the ultimate price with their lives to keep our Republic free.

With the Federal Government taking over the Automobile industry, Nationalizing the Banking system and Insurance industries, and providing the American people with an absolutely devastating “National Health Coverage Plan”, we see Fascism, and we are seeing tyranny between the three branches of government. When are we going to get back to the Declaration of Independence? When are we going to get back to the United States Constitution? When will the Federal Government stop tying to abrogate our Bill of Rights? Lastly, When are the elected officials going to start taking their Oath of Office as something other than a formality?

In closing, and in further reference to your “Assessment”, What I see that your organization is labeling as “Potential Domestic Terrorists” are just people who want their country back, it seems the more we want that, the numerous tentacles of this government are choking the life out of our country, and are becoming more intrusive and oppressive every day.

Potential Domestic Terrorists or Honored Veterans?

I have just finished reading the Department of Homeland Security's Assessment titled "Right- wing Extremism: Current Economic and Political Climate Fueling Resurgence in Radicalization and Recruitment", which just to reading the title is tiring. I suggest that everyone who cares about the country read this treatise on Government paranoia. I have picked out one short quote from this assessment, and a quote from Mr. Obama's tribute to our veterans: first the quote form the assessment, and second President Obama's quote; "Returning veterans possess combat skills and experience that are attractive to rightwing extremists. DHS/I&A is concerned that rightwing extremists will attempt to recruit and radicalize returning veterans in order to boost their violent capabilities."

President Obama Urged Americans to pay tribute to veterans on Memorial Day, saying the nation too often has "Failed to live up to that responsibility." These are two very disparate statements.

Being a Veteran mililtary retiree I take great umbrage to the DHS Assessment, not only the quote, but the document in its entirety. I have just about finished reading this "Department of Homeland Security Assessment" Boy talk about paranoid! The model for this assessment could theoretically be one used by Josef Goebbels, Hitler's Propaganda Minister. I am formulating a letter to Janet N. I only hope I can maintain some semblance of being polite in pleading the case for the American people. What these Washington elitist don't realize is that Ronald Reagan was absolutely correct when he stated” Government is not the solution the problem, government is the problem". First of all, just to put things in perspective, who is responsible for the stewardship of our financial and national resources? Right the Federal Government. The Legislative Branch of our government is responsible for...........legislation! The Executive branch ( the President) signs those bills into law, and Voila!!!!!!!!!!we the citizens are stuck with living with their mistakes. Several decades of administrations are responsible for the screwed up mess we are living in now. No doubt there is plenty of blame to go around. Who is responsible for the financial apocalypse we are currently experiencing? The Federal government is responsible, and without equivocation attempts to place blame on we the American people for living beyond our means. They (the government) are now afraid of the general population, and fear civil unrest, rebellion, or domestic terrorism, hence this onerous U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Assessment "Rightwing Extremism: Current Economic and Political Climate Fueling Resurgence in Radicalism and Recruitment". I am beyond pissed off. I as well as millions of other patriotic Americans put our lives on the line for a country that we loved and would have given our lives to protect, untold thousands of young men and women did make the ultimate sacrifice, and in most cases with little notice or recognition for that sacrifice. One issue that everyone I ever served with took seriously was the Oath of Enlistment. This is one of the issues that politicians apparently take lightly, I believe they look at the Oath of Office as just a formality, and manage to breach that oath on a daily basis after their swearing in.

Obama Nominee Koh Advocates Global Gun Control

Last week, the Senate Foreign Relations Committee held a hearing on the nomination of Harold Koh, a former Dean of the Yale Law School, to be legal advisor to the State Department. One of the many concerns about Koh us his belief that international organizations should be empowered to regulate the 2nd Amendment right to own a firearm.

On April 2, 2002 Koh gave a speech to Fordham University School of Law titled “ A World Drowning in Guns” where he mapped out his vision of global gun control. Koh advocated an international “marking and tracing regime.” He complained that the United States is now the major supplier of small arms in the world, yet the United States and its allies do not trace their newly manufactured weapons in any consistent way.” Koh advocate a UN-governed regime to force the U.S. “to submit information about their small arms production.”

National Database?

Koh supports the idea that the UN should be granted the power “to standardize national laws and procedures with member states of regional organizations.” Koh feels that the U.S. should “establish a national firearms control system and a register of manufacturers, traders, importers and exporters” of guns to comply with international obligations. This regulatory regime would allow UN members such as Cuba, Venezuela, North Korea and Iran to have a say in what type of gun regulations are imposed on American citizens.

Taken to their logical conclusion, Koh’s ideas could lead to a national database of all firearm owners, as well as the use of international law to force the U.S. to pass laws to find out who owns guns. All who care about freedom should read this speech. Senators need to think long and hard about whether Koh’s extreme views on international gun control are appropriate for America.

This is serious business, and I urge everyone to call or write your congressmen, and tell them in no uncertain terms that this man's (Koh) plan or vision will not stand with the American people.

The Unrelenting Attack on our Gun Freedoms

Our 2nd Amendment Right under the United States Constitution is clear, and is explicit in its meaning. It is simply written, containing only 27 words; “A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.” The 2nd Amendment is, and has been for over two and a third centuries the stalwart standard bearer, that has kept this country free, thanks to the armed citizen. Unfortunately, there are those in power who through political chicanery, misinformation to the general public by the use of scare tactics, and yes use of the Federal Courts, are trying to disarm the American people.

The advocates of the anti gun crowd have tried to interpret the “well regulated militia” portion of the 2nd Amendment to mean a regular “full time military”. In their view only the full time Military should be armed. Nothing could be further from truth. In the Federalist Papers, The Federalist No. 29, “Concerning the Militia”, written Thursday, January 10th, 1788, by Alexander Hamilton clearly defines what a militia is, and it is the citizens at large. More recently in the case of Heller v. Washington, DC the United States, the Supreme Court ruled in favor of Heller and the 2nd Amendment, their decision upholds the Founding Fathers intent of the Second Amendment and is explicit in its meaning, this gives credence to the last 14 words of the 2nd Amendment; “the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.”

In the vernacular of the 18th Century, Hamilton’s writing is sometimes long, and lugubrious, however, his writings do identify the “Civilian Militia” quite well. He writes in the context of a militia at large versus a large standing fulltime Militia. To quote he writes “This will not only lessen the call for military establishments, but if circumstances should at any time oblige the government to form an army of any magnitude that army can never be formidable to the liberties of the people while there is a large body of citizens, little, If at all, inferior to them in discipline and the use of arms, who stand ready to defend their own rights and those of their fellow citizens. This appears to me the only substitute that can be devised for a standing army, and best possible security against it, is it should exist.” As you can see it is not easy reading, however, he makes it clear that the armed citizen is an integral part of the militia in times of need. In essence Hamilton was saying that it would not be practical to have a very large standing army, but an army that would be supplemented by the armed citizens if needed.

The anti-Second Amendment crowd will never stop its efforts to disarm the American citizen, by any means at there disposal. Our President has a long anti-gun history and voting record, that on every issue pertinent to gun rights he comes down on the extreme radical left wing. The following list is long but necessary to clearly point out his true stand on the firearm issues. His pro-gun rights rhetoric belies his voting record.

Consider the following facts about President Obama and his true stand on the Second Amendment;
FACT: Barack Obama opposes four of the five Supreme Court Justices who affirmed and individual right to keep and bear arms. (He would not have voted for Clarence Thomas)

FACT: Barack Obama voted for an Illinois State Senate Bill to ban and confiscate “assault weapons,” it would also have banned semi-automatic and double barrel shotguns commonly used by sportsmen.

FACT: Barack Obama voted to allow reckless lawsuits designed to bankrupt the firearms industry.

FACT: Barack Obama wants to re-impose the failed and discredited Clinton Gun Ban.

FACT: Barack Obama voted to ban almost all rifle ammunition commonly used for hunting and sport shooting.

FACT: Barack Obama has endorsed a 500% increase in the federal excise tax on firearms and ammunition.

FACT: Barack Obama has endorsed a complete ban on handgun ownership.

FACT: Barack Obama supports local gun bans in Chicago, Washington, DC and other cities.

FACT: Barack Obama voted to uphold local gun bans and the criminal prosecution of peoples use of firearms in self-defense.

FACT: Barack Obama supports gun owner licensing and gun registration.

FACT: Barack Obama refused to sign a friend-of-the-court Brief in support of the individual Second Amendment rights in the Heller case.

FACT: Barack Obama opposes Right to Carry laws.

FACT: Barack Obama was a member of the Board of Directors of the Joyce Foundation, the leading source of funds for anti-gun organizations and “research.”

FACT: Barack Obama supported a proposal to ban gun stores within 5 miles of a school or playground, which would eliminate almost every gun store in America.

FACT: Barack Obama voted not to notify gun owners when the state of Illinois did records searches on them.

FACT: Barack Obama voted against a measure to lower the Firearms Owners Identification age minimum from 21 to 18, a measure designed to assist young people in the military.

FACT: Barack Obama favors a ban on standard capacity magazines.

FACT: Barack Obama supports mandatory micro stamping (ammunition).

FACT: Barack Obama supports mandatory waiting periods.

FACT: Barack Obama supports repeal of the Tiahrt Amendment; which prohibits informational gun traces collected by the BATEF from being used in reckless lawsuits against firearm dealers.

FACT: Barack Obama supports one-gun-a-month handgun purchase restrictions.

FACT: Barack Obama supports ban on inexpensive handguns.

FACT: Barack Obama supports a ban on resale of police issued firearms, even if the money is going to the police departments for replacement equipment.

FACT: Barack Obama supports mandatory firearm training requirements for all gun owners.

As you can see Barack Obama had an extensive anti gun voting record as an Illinois Senator, and he continued that bent during the Presidential Primaries, however, once he won his party’s nomination he reversed that spin and spent millions of dollars showering key states with flyers promising voters he would never try to take their guns. But after winning the election, those pro-freedom showers and promises dried up over night.

Much to our chagrin, the Anti gun President has a majority in both the house and Senate, and can do pretty much as he pleases. With the twit Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, and Dirty Harry Reid the Majority Leader in the Senate, the President is ruling almost by fiat, not governing. To add insult to injury his White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel, Attorney General Eric Holder, Secretary of Department Homeland Security Janet Napolitano are all on board, complicit, and they will are one hell of a formidable force for we the gun owners, and believers in the Second Amendment are up against. If there is anything to the old adage, “there is strength in numbers” the gun owners in the end may have the winning hand, after all there are approximately 90 million gun owners in the United States. I believe that we are not just going to stand back, and hand over our guns without a fight. Remember an armed person is a citizen, and unarmed person is a subject.

The final, and critical piece to the Statist, Utopian Socialist, and Transnationalist puzzle is a total disarming of the people of this great nation, and the destruction of our country’s sovereignty. If that happens we no longer have the ability to defend ourselves, our families, or the ability to protect our property against an oppressive, intrusive, omnipotent government…………at that point we the people will be nothing more than subjects of the ruling government.

Lets get busy and win the House and Senate back next year.

Judge, Jury and................

The United States Constitution identifies three separate branches of government: Article I, establishes the Legislative Branch, Article II, establishes the Executive Branch, , and finally Article III establishes the Judicial Branch. The Constitution sets forth the guidelines for each branch, in terms of what they can, and can't do. The Founding Fathers, in their wisdom wrote the Constitution in this manner to provide a system of checks and balances to insure that no one branch could not possibly dominate either of the other two branches. This was the intent of the Founding Fathers. The Tenth Amendment also comes into play addressing to some extent States Rights as well as the people's rights.

Given the aforementioned, there were problems that evolved over the years as our country grew, that the Founding Fathers could not have possibly fathomed or anticipated. Mark Levin's recently published Book "Liberty and Tyranny" clearly identifies a fourth branch of government that he calls an amorphous branch of government, an enormous administrative branch which oversees and and implements the administration's policies. It is a massive bureaucracy that consists of a workforce of over 2 million employees and administers a budget of over $3 trillion a year. This branch enforces rules that regulate energy, the environment, business, labor, employment, transportation, housing, agriculture, food, drugs, education, etc. As you may imagine, as well as feel the effects, and control this "amorphous" branch of government on a daily basis. It abrogates the individuals rights, and freedoms guaranteed by the United states Constitution, and our Bill of Rights.

On the subject of "Judge, Jury and....", Secretary Of Homeland Security(DHS) Janet Napolitano has deemed it necessary to identify veterans of the military as susceptible to joining local militia groups and become Domestic terrorists. Not to mention the fact that if you are Pro-life, a conservative, or fly the Gadsden "Don't Tread on Me" flag, have a Ron Paul bumper sticker on your vehicles, or are a gun owner an advocate of the 2nd Amendment, or pray regularly, are not afraid to mention the word"God", and are not afraid to speak out against an administration or its president...............on and on, according to Janet Napolitano you are a "Right Wing Extremist' and even may be a candidate for domestic terrorism. This paragraph defines one segment of the Amorphous branch).

If you are any of the above, then you are a target for The Attorney General of the United States. Stated clearly, if you are identified as one of the above by DHS (part of the amorphous branch of government), you may be punished under one of the Constitutions branches of government the Judicial Branch. (This is the Judge and Jury) I'm not really clear on who the executioner is.

There are tyranny and fascism issues in this administration, but these are a subject for another post.

Your New Neighbor May Be.........

Yes, your new neighbor may be a Palestinian loyal to Hamas, a terrorist organization that has vowed the destruction of Israel. How, and why is this unacceptable action happening? I imagine the large Jewish voting block that helped put Mr. Obama in power is thrilled, and can't wait for rational explanation from the President. Actually, every American deserves..........no demands an answer. Why did this happen, and why is $20.3 million of taxpayers money be allocated to relocate Palestinians here in America?

Here is how it happened, but no believable reason why it happened. In the Federal Register, Document E9-2488, DOCID: fr04fe09-106. Presidential Determination No. 2009-15 of January 27, 2009 (yes 9 days after his Inauguration). In part: "Unexpected Urgent Refugee and Migration Needs Related to Gaza: memorandum for the Secretary of State, By authority vested in me by the Constitution and the laws of the United States, including section 2(c)(1) of the Migration and Refugee Assistance Act of 1962 ................ (yada, yada) I hereby determine, pursuantto section2(c)(1) of the Act, that it is important to the national interests to furnish assistance under the Act in an amount not exceed $20.3 million from the United States Emergency Refugee and Migration Assistance Fund of the purposeof meeting unexpected and urgent refugee and migration needs.............."on and on. Anyway, your questions may be the same as mine, and that would be. What the hell is this all about? "it is important to the National interests" what would those be?

This was only 9 days after he took office, he wasn't even in office long enough to find the executive rest room let alone determine that it is in national interests to take this action.
One of his first contacts after assuming the office of the President was a call to Mahmoud Abbas, the leader of the Fatah party in the Palestinian territory. Why was that so urgent?

I think the President and his administration owe the the American people an explanation why the taxpayers of this great country are paying to relocate terrorists into our neighborhoods. It is an untenable situation. I think DHS's Napaliatano should be more worried about this than the attention she is giving the military veterans.

Tea Party April 15th

To: All Congressmen and women April 15, 2009

Today, April 15th 2009, I had the pleasure of attending a Tea Party in Springfield, IL. It was well attended sans mainstream media coverage. It was an uplifting, spirited gathering of like-minded people that are just plain fed up with a Federal Government that is totally out of control. The issue is not a Republican, Democrat, Libertarian, or Independent, but an American issue!

Throughout the country today hundreds of thousands, and possibly a million people came together in a common cause………status quo in congress is no longer acceptable to the American people. There is a huge swell of dissatisfaction with the lack of congressional performance.

You seem to forget that you are employees of the citizens of the United States of America, and we are your employers. Your salaries, pension plans, health care packages, and congressional perks are far too generous, and I think significant adjustment should be made to bring them back to the realm of reality. I think we can start with abrogation of your current pension plan, and put you on Social Security like the vast majority of Americans, and an HMO for your health care. As to your salaries, your employer should be the one to determine if your performance has been satisfactory, and if it is we should be the ones to grant a pay raise. Employees should never have the power to vote themselves a pay raise. A Merit pay raise should be performance based.

Then there is the Income tax issue, why do we have an Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Tax Code that is 60,000 pages long and is so complex that no one can totally understand it. There is a simple solution to the problem, scrap the IRS, implement a flat tax plan, or better yet a consumption tax.

Since the days of Teddy Roosevelt, Woodrow Wilson and Franklin D Roosevelt The American people have been fed incrementally small doses of Statism that has slowly but surely eroded our rights as guaranteed by the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, and our Bill of Rights. The Bill of Rights is explicit and unequivocal in its meaning, and that is to protect the people from an intrusive and oppressive government. You know what? You people have not been living up to that guarantee.

We the people (your employer) are sick and tired of the uncontrolled spending and ignoring the guidance provided by our Founding Fathers in the Constitution. When you swore on the Holy bible that you “shall be bound by Oath or affirmation, to support the Constitution” it was a sacred oath, and for ethical responsible office holders it should never be breached. Unfortunately you violate that sacred oath on a daily basis. It would seem that the Constitution has been relegated to nothing more than a historic document with no relevance in today’s world. We the American people disagree, and want it reinstated to its proper and intended standing as the blue print for guidance of this great country. The Constitution tells us what the Federal Government can and can’t do for example Article1Section 8 lists the enumerated powers, spells out what the Federal Government can do, and the 10th Amendment states “The powers not delegated to the United states by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or the people.”

For you employees whose approval rating today is uh………33.8% that is hardly a passing grade. The message promulgated here is, if you continue down this road and continue to disregard the dictates of the Founding Fathers (that would be the Constitution, the Bill of Rights and the Declaration of Independence) we the people can guarantee you, there will undoubtedly be a large turn over in the United states Congress this next election.

A college graduate, and a retired veteran of the United States military is writing this letter. I am not some wild-eyed right wing radical that advocates the violent over throw of the United States Government. What I am however is an American citizen, and a patriot that loves his country, and I am disheartened by the actions of a congress that threatens our sovereignty, and the very existence of our country, as we know it. I want our country back, and it is your sworn duty as congressmen and congresswomen to reject the political philosophies of Statism, Transnationalism, and Nationalism that has caused decades of erosion of our sovereignty, eroding of our individual rights, and loss of respect in the eyes of the world, and get back to our Constitution.

Clearly, fascism, and tyranny have already become evident, particularly in this administration. This is like Nazi Germany in the 1930’s, and must be stopped.

Final words change your ways, straighten up and fly right, otherwise you will feel the wrath of millions of voters at the ballot box this next election. The vox populi will be heard!

Transnationalism, Internationalism, and Statism

Transnationalism, Internationalism, and Statism. These philosophies of rule rather than governing are a great danger to our country. We the people are for the most part unaware of what is happening basically because it is being accomplished in incremental small doses. Unless we wake up and let our voices be heard loud and clear that we are a sovereign country, we will succumb. We do have a Declaration of Independence, and a U.S. Constitution that is the blue print for our nation. All too often we hear that the Constitution is irrelevant, or it is a living document with little significance in today's world. Conservatives and Patriots know better. You hear the Secretary of State talk about a "progressive America". Progressive sounds good, but when it is put in the context of losing your freedoms in the process, in a word it sucks. Lets do a bit of defining.

Transnationalism is a social movement promoting a heightened interconnectivity between people and the loosening of boundaries between countries. Transnationalism as an economic process involves the global reorganization of the production process, in which various stages of the production of any product can occur in any country, typically with aim of minimizing costs.

Proponents of transnationalism seek to facilitate the flow of people, ideas, and goods between regions. They believe that it has increasing relevance with the rapid growth of globalization. They contended it does not make sense to link specific Nation-state boundaries with for instance migratory work forces, globalized corporations, global money flow, global information flow, and global scientific cooperation.

Internationalism refers to global co-operation between nation states, and points to the affairs between nation state governments, while transnationalism refers to global co-operation between people, and points of activities, which transcends national boundaries and in which nation-state governments do not play the most important or even a significant role. So there are careful distinctions being made between international or multinational relationships-between and among nation-states or their agents thereof-and transnational relationships between and among individuals and other entities, regardless of nation-state boundaries.

Statist, very briefly, Conservatives must acknowledge the statist does not share his passion for for liberty and all the good that flows from it. The statist does not recognize the tremendous benefits the great benefits to society from the individual efforts and pursuits of tens of millions of others. The statist rejects the Founder's idea of the dignity of the individual , who can flourish through orffered liberty, for one rooted in unpredictability, irrationality and Ultimately tyranny.

I think these three pernicious political forces are currently being implemented by enemies of our country, liberty, and our personal freedoms. If they are successful, the sovereignty of our country will become a thing of the past, and we the people will become subjects rather than citizens.

Transnationalism also calls for a global court system that will supplant power of our countires court system. Now, isn't that special.

Conspiracy or Coincidence?

Given the fact that I am a cynic, and for the most part pessimistic of our government and the news media, some may call me a conspiracy theorist. However, is it just me or is there something happening here? As you all have noticed there have been a multitude of killings being reported on a daily basis on the network news programs? Most of these cases are multiple victims, many shot to death with the dreaded "Assault Rifle". These are the stories that in many cases are making headline news.

As pernicious as these violent crimes are it seems more than coincidental that these are happening at the same time as numerous anti-gun bills are being introduced in congress. My question; Is the liberal media, the ultra-liberal President, and his administration orchestrating a media attack to get the support of the public, by using these violent crimes to give credence (at least in the liberal mind) to their incessant drive to disarm the American public?

Is it just my suspicious mind? or could this be in fact what is happening?

Then we have President Obama making a speech in France, and he says the following:

"In America there is a failure to appreciate Europe's leading role in the world. Instead of celebrating your dynamic union, and seeking to partner with you to meet common challenges, there have been times when America has shown arrogance, and been dismissive, even derisive."

About our Constitution, and Bill of Rights

Given our history, I am having a very difficult time understanding why our government "of the people, by the people, for the people" has evolved into anything but. This President and his administration are running rough shod over the Constitution, and we the people are suffering the consequences. Do we have any immediate recourse for these irresponsible acts that violate our rights? I think not, unless something drastic happens like congress gets some gonads and calls this President out and holds him accountable for his acts of tyranny.

Lets go back to the incipient stages and birth of our country. We won our independence from Great Britain in1781. The document that was instrumental in gaining our independence was the Declaration of Independence. There are powerful brave words in this historic document. in part they say................"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness....That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed. That whenever any form of government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its power in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness. Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable , than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpation's, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce the under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and provide new Guards for their future security............"

Then came an attempt at a first Constitution called the Articles of Confederation, which were short lived and was far from being a " perfect union", in essence it was a "League of Friendship" among States. The Articles of Confederation being an abject failure, a group of citizens called for a Constitutional Convention, and one was formed and meetings began in May 1781 at Independence Hall in Philadelphia, among the leaders were George Washington, Benjamin Franklin, and James Madison. On September 17th 1781 the Constitution was put into final form and signed by 55 brave Founding Fathers. In 1791 the Bill of Rights was added (the first 10 Amendments to the Constitution). The Bill of Rights was added to protect the people from an intrusive, and oppressive omnipotent government. These guaranteed rights are explicit in their meaning.

Contrary to what most Liberals would have you believe, the United States Constitution is not a "living document" it is the cornerstone of the foundation that this great country was built on. Over the years it has been under attack for the most part by liberals that are driven by their desire for power over the people, and denying us our rights by insinuating themselves into every facet of our lives.

This President sees fit to insinuate the Executive Branch of Government into Auto Industry, the Insurance Industry, and our Financial system. He has the "Audacity" to fire the CEO of General Motors. This pure tyranny. There are numerous instances where he tramples the Constitution.

How sad that Mr. Obama has forgotten these 55 words that he swore too on the Lincoln Bible:

"I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States."

May God Bless America! Lets get busy and take Congress back next election cycle.

Government Hypocrisy

This will probably be a short post, but I will try to hit the things that really bother me. There are so many things going on in the Federal Government that are wrong, and it seems that no one is doing anything about it. I do believe that Conservative Talk Radio hosts like El Rushbo, Neal Boortz, Laura Ingraham, Sean Hannity, and Glenn Beck do an excellent job of getting the word out about what is happening to this Country. Glenn Beck's Fox News TV show does an excellent of getting people motivated. There is some movement in the area of protest marches in Washington, theTeaParties being held nationwide appear to be very effective, and are drawing larger crowds than expected. These are all good things for the conservative base. This President, and his Administration have really created a really rich target environment for criticisms. I think we have to address these targets individually.

On Chief Executive Officer's salaries, compensation packages Mr. Obama wants to dictate the the CEOs can only earn so much salary and limit their compenstaion packages. He tries to justify this as a result of Stimulus Package (tax payer's) money their corporation recieves. Wait a minute, who else recieves salary and benefits derived from tax payers money?

It is very disturbing to rational thinking Americans that this person elected President of the United States comes from the militant/radical anti-American segment of the political spectrum. He loathes everything America stands for; private property rights, Americas Judeo-Christian heritage, the free enterprise system, and more importantly the United States Constitution, our Bill of Rights (all ten of them), and the Declaration of Independence. I believe the aforementioned anti-American attributes are the results of this “Rogues Gallery’s” unsavory influence on the President.

The United States may not survive, as we know it if the President has his way. The Democratic Party retained control of both houses this past election. Unfortunately, with the majority in both houses Mr. Obama will probably be able to push his Socialist agenda through congress with practically nothing an impotent minority party can do to stop him. All the above being said, stop and think about your family and its future.

Thanks to the uninformed, misinformed, and yes the ignorant that had no idea what they were voting for, we have a President that is the poster child for the psychological malady, narcissism.

May God Bless our Country; our way of life is in great peril, and we are in danger of losing our sovereignty. Let us rise up and take it back, and hope that irreparable damage has not been done.

Letter to my Representative in Washington

Congressman Shimkus, March 23rd, 2009

I am writing this letter in utter disbelief of what is happening to our country and it’s citizens. I am deeply disturbed by the many tentacles of Mr. Obama’s Marxist agenda for the country (aside from the financial debacle we are in). In the words from the Jimmy Buffett Song “Fruitcakes” and Mr. Beale from the movie “Network”………….”I’m mad as hell and I’m not going to take it anymore!"

Having said that, millions of Americans are wondering just what the hell is going on? When is congress going to wake up, and stand up to this President and set him straight? America is about “Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness” at least that is what the Declaration of Independence says. Mr. Obama and his administration are on the fast track to destroying our American way of life. He is trying very hard to silence dissenting voices, a violation of our First Amendment Rights; he is trying very hard to disarm the people, our Second Amendment Rights. Through the Department of Homeland Security he is pushing for a Civilian National Security Force, which sounds very much like Hitler’s Brown Shirts, I am almost certain that he would support neighbors spying on neighbors and reporting what they hear and see to that Security Force.

Now I see that Homeland Security is gathering information on private citizens and formulating lists of possible “Domestic Terrorists”, now isn’t that special! I’ll tell you right now, I have been a firearm owner for 60 years, and will not give them up without a fight. I am, and have been for most of my adult life a member of the NRA. Everyday I fly either the American Flag, or the Gadsden “Don’t Tread On Me” Flag, on particularly bad days I fly the Old Glory upside down. I use American Flag postage stamps and place them upside down on the mail I send, I also put a “In God We Trust” label on the back of every piece of mail I send. I have what some would consider Libertarian views on some issues. Call me old fashioned but I still believe that an “Oath of Office” does mean something, and that those that breach that trust should be removed from office (elected politicians take heed), I spent over twenty years of my life defending my country, and would gladly do it again if asked. Having said that, I believe that I am a vanishing breed, an American Patriot, If however, these are the things that Homeland Security are looking at to formulate their list, then sign me up, and bring it on.

I am just Pissed John; we cannot continue to let this guy run rough shod over the people, and The United States Constitution. By the way, regardless what Mr. Obama would have us believe the Constitution is not a living document, quite the contrary it is the rock solid building block that has served this great country for over two centuries.

AIG Bonuses, Congress, and Bill of Attainder

The bonuses being paid to the AIG employees is a bitter pill to swallow, basically because AIG received a huge influx of cash from the U.S. taxpayers via our "gang that can't shoot straight" Congress. However, as I understand it, these are binding contracts that were all negotiated long before the pending economic Apocalypse, which is mainly due to no oversight of the Government Sponsored Enterprises (G.S.E.s) like Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. These two G.S.E.s Are the largest holders, and insurers of mortgages in the United States. They have control over $5.3 trillion in mortgage debt. What is now obvious to some casual observers is that Congress is busting their butts trying to find someone to blame (along with "W"), and that is where the controversy comes in. For those of you out there who remember the "Pogo", comic strip one of his favorite lines was "We have met the enemy and it us." Appropriate, and in consonance with this Congress I would say, even though they would not admit it.

There is this little clause in the United States Constitution, it can be found in Article I, Section 9, Clause 3. I states simply "No bill of attainder or ex post facto (after the deed) law shall be passed". Now, a "bill of attainder" is a law passed by the legislature to punish a person/or persons without having a regular trial in court. What this amounts to is a way in which an unjust government sometimes punishes persons who disagree with it.

Article I Section 9, clause 4 also plays into the game here. It states "No capitation or other direct tax shall be laid, unless in proportion to the census or enumeration herein before directed to be taken" For elucidation "Capitation Tax" means a direct tax which collects money from every person. This clause directs that any national capitation tax must be the same for persons in every state. This was modified by the XVI Amendment to the Constitution, (Adopted in 1913) which states "The Congress shall have the power to lay and collect taxes on incomes, from whatever source derived, without apportionment among the several states, and without regard to any census or enumeration." Basically this means that no matter the source of the income the government can tax it, however, a person or persons cannot be singled out and punished with higher tax rates (like the AIG folks, and a bill of attainder).

I didn't mean for this to drag out into a lesson on the Constitution. However, I believe it is relevant to what is going on with the Congress in their CYA mode of operation. The fact is, if they manage to place this 90% tax rate on these AIG folks that received these bonuses, it is both a violation of a Bill of Attainder clause, as well as being a Capitation Tax, both are direct violations of the U.S.Constitution, as well as a breach of their Oath Of Office to "support and defend the Constitution of the Unite States"............

Lets keep the pressure on Congress. Hang tough brother patriots, and may God Bless America!

Geithner as Treasury Secretary, a Case of Cognitive Disonance?

So, Mr. Geithner is now confirmed as the Secretary of the Treasury. I have to ask myself, why? If there is anyone with a rational explanation I would sure like to hear it. I don't want to hear the old line "You don't see, or understand the big picture". To me Mr. Geithner' attested too financial wizardry, and brilliance are supplanted by his actions. Call me silly, but I am not impressed.

As President of the New York Federal Reserve Bank, Mr. Geithner preached that large financial firms like Citicorp should be held to the highest standards in their financial dealings. Apparently his words were only empty rhetoric. Under Mr. Geithner's tutelage the New York Fed, eased the reins on Citigroup that subsequently blew billions of dollars on sub-prime mortgages, and other risky financial deals. I fail to see how this is sound financial judgement.

Then there are the tax evasion issues. If I failed to pay $34,000 ($48,268 with interest and penalties) in taxes owed the IRS, I would probably lose my house, or worse go to jail. Yet one of my Senators, Dick "Turban" Durbin had the unmitigated gall to, quote; "Mr. Geithner apologized for his tax errors. He has submitted the payments owed, I believe that his mistakes were unintentional errors and one of many factors to be considered in judging the totality of Mr. Geithner's nomination." Senator Durbin further stated;"I believe that Mr. Geithner will provide the strong leadership the Treasury Department needs to tackle the current financial crisis and put our economy back on the road to recovery." Now ain't that special. If Mr. Geithner is as brilliant as he is professed to be, he should be sharp enough to recognize the fact that he owes back taxes (from 2001-2004) . If he didn't remember, I am quite sure that the IRS would occasionally send him friendly reminders. He has a problem using Turbo Tax, and he is the Secretary of the Treasury-----------give me a break.

In my humble opinion this man has a propensity for dishonesty, and cheating. Unfortunately the deed has been done, he is confirmed as Secretary of the Treasury. The facts are, we have someone at the reins of the Treasury with questionable integrity and ethics. Thanks a lot Mr. B.O. and Congress.

I have not been able to find a definitive dollar amount that Mr. Geithner may have received as a result of this total financial collapse. However, we the people would probably agree that untold billions of taxpayers dollars are going into the pockets of these miscreants in what we call "Government", Billions are going out of the country, AIG alone has sent $62B (at last count) to foreign banks.

Unfortunately, if we conservatives and patriots don't take our country back, sadly we will become just another second rate country in the world. Pray for us and our country my brothers. MAY GOD BLESS AMERICA!

AIG Bonuses vs. Taxpayer Money

A lot of hullabaloo over the AIG bonuses, and finger pointing going on in congress, as well as the media getting the populous all riled up and ready to get he pitchforks and torches, and going after these high paid CEO miscreants. As distasteful as the media makes it sound, the facts are that these bonuses are binding contracts that were negotiated long before the financial house of cards collapsed. Binding contracts are what they are(binding). If the Congress of the United States somehow manages to breach a binding contract, is a that a harbinger of things to come? If this happens, who will feel comfortable entering into a "binding contract" when in the back of their minds they know that the federal government may come along and void the contract.

Lets put things in perspective at least in my perspective. AIG was given approximately $106 B to shore up its obligations, and here is how our taxpayer dollars were distributed (by AIG); Goldman Sachs-$13B, Merrill Lynch-$7B, Bank of America-$5B, other American Banks- $19B. Then we head over seas: United Kingdom-$13B, Germany-$17B, France-$19B, Swiss-$5B, Other small foreign countries $8B. That is a lot of taxpayer money leaving the country. However, you never hear, nor see the mainstream media talk about the $62B of taxpayers money going over seas. What you do hear about is those evil CEOs walking away with $165M of taxpayer bailout money. Whether they performed well or not is irrelevant, it is a binding contract. Focusing more on these bonuses versus the $106B AIG total package, the CEO Bonuses paid by binding contract are only .00155% of that total.

It is blatantly obvious that the administration is playing a shell game with the American people trying to get you to keep your eyes on the $165M bonuses, distracting your attention from the $62B given to foreign banks, Absolutely shameful. Now Barney Frank and the gang that can't shoot straight want to abrogate these contracts. Absolutely shameful, as well as pathetic.

Obama says"Spend Wisely"

I see in the paper today that Mr. Obama states that he will not tolerate wasteful spending of his $787 billion Economic Stimulus Package (according to the Associated Press). He further states "If we see money being misspent, we're going to put a stop to it". If wasteful spending is found "We will call it out and we will publicize it." Let me pose the question, but first set the premise. During the rush to get this stimulus package through the House and the Senate to his desk so he could sign it into law (immediately), he and Michele took Air Force One (most likely two Air Force Ones, one is a decoy) to Chicago for a Valentines day dinner. Is this wasteful spending? I guess this expensive trip was not part of the stimulus package so wasteful spending in that instance is OK. I have heard as well as read there are 9,000 earmarks in these stimulus bills . If he was honest enough to honor his word he would have had his veto pen ready, and done the right thing.

One other quick observation. He follows the cardinal rules of management, he came into office and started making major changes on day one. People just love that style of management, they don't really resist change do they? He demonstrates on a daily basis one other tenant of good leadership that of "Lead by Example". I guess the concept of effective management has changed since I was in the working force. I have said it before and I will say it again, this guy is nothing more than an articulate snakeoil salesman that lacks any semblance of management skills, executive experience, and absolutely no clue about the economy. Folks we are in for a long and difficult 4 years (hopefully that is all).

Does the Oath of Office have any meaning?

This blog will just bring to attention the fact that the President and Congressmen and Congresswomen do in fact take an Oath of Office. The presidential Oath of Office as documented in the Constitution of the United States (Article Two, Section One, Clause Eight): "I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."

The Oath of Office for Congress members (Article Six U.S. Constitution) is administered by the Speaker of the House, and is a s follows: "I (name of Member), do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign or domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office which I am about to enter. So help me God."

I think any rational thinking person can see that most of the elected officials do not pay heed to their Oath of Office.

The last quote is from the Declaration of Independence, it is powerful, and apparently the government chooses to ignore, it is as follows: From the Declaration of Independence. The Founding Fathers had it right, and the current elected officials should read and heed.

“That whenever any form of Government becomes destructive of these ends (man’s unalienable rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness), it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, so as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness….But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.”

These are powerful words, not my words, but those of our Founding Fathers.

FEMA Take Over?

This is a wild scenario, however, if you step back and take an objective look at what is happening with Mr. Obama's performance so far, picture this: Suppose the burdening the United States with huge debt as he has managed to do so far in his first month and a half as President, that this is the first step in a plan to something analagous to anarchy (or dictatorship). At some point the American people will rise up and civil strife will occur, Mr. Obama will see this as unacceptable and decalare martial law to control the people. As martial law would be initiated, Fema would be turned loose on the citizens of this country and "voila"! All civil rights are suspended, property rights are gone, your vehicles can be confiscated, your firearms confiscated, and you can be thrown in prison (or concentration camp) with out a trial, your rights are surrendered under FEMA. What an ugly scenario, but one to keep in mind.

Fairness Doctrine?

This post is directed too Nasty Pelosi. Where in the hell do you think you live, In 1939 Nazi Germany? The online poll to get Rush Limbaugh, and other conservative talk show hosts shut down is unconscionable. Silencing dissenting voices is reminiscent of Adolph Hitler’s Propaganda Minister Josef Goebbles, and gaining control of the airways. You don’t seem to understand the concept of the fundamental right too free speech. Listening to Rush Limbaugh, Laura Graham, Sean Hannity, Neal Boortz, and others is a freedom of choice for listeners. No one is forced to listen to talk radio. I suggest that you back off! The Fairness’ Doctrine is anything but fair. Liberal talk show hosts consistently fail to be successful, and the liberal left cannot make a viable argument for "fairness", there is empirical data that shows that all the major networks (except Fox News) are overwhelmingly liberal leaning, so you have your fairness doctrine through ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, and MSNBC. Do you understand?

The United States and the marx Dialectic

In my opinion, what is at work in this country is related to theories developed by Karl Marx, and we all know what a sweetheart he was. Although the idea was not an original of marx, but borrowed from the German Philosopher G.W.F. Hegel. However, Marx did see history through what he called the dialectic lens. According to the dialectic, changes always follow a certain pattern. The pattern has three stages called the theseis, antithesis, and the synthesis. The thesis is the current modus operandi, soon another idea, the antithesis challanges the thesis. these two stages are looked at through the dialectic lens, do battle, and what emerges is called the synthesis, which becomes the new thesis. Over a period of time this process of evolution will ultimately repeat itself. I think what is happening now is the U.S. Constitution (thesis) is in a life and death struggle with the utopian socialist element (anthesis). The synthesis is yet to be determined. If this comes to fruition, and the utopian socialist society prevails, America as we know it will cease to exist. We will become the detrirus of this Rock of Gibraltar, that was once America. Unfortunately , the uninformed /ignorant masses have elected a radical Marxist as our President. God help us..........or am I not allowed to say that for fear of offending someone?
